Metene Shower Brush with Soft and Stiff Bristles, Bath Dual-Sided Long Handle Back Scrubber Body Exfoliator for Wet or Dry Brushing

I had to replace my 15 year old Shower Brush. This one is great! It has two stiffnesses, one is soft the other more for dead skin, but not painfully. Brushes are dense and of good quality. I love how easy it makes it to really get the whole back! Back scrubbing with ease. I use it also for dry brushing before the shower, great for opening your channels of elimination. Super effective, really nice long handle, nice sturdy wood. So worth it.

These are such nice shower brushes. I love that they're mostly natural materials with a natural wood finish, with just a bit of plastic for grip. The brushes make it much easier to reach your whole body, or to help someone else in the shower. They're an essential for caregivers. The handle length is perfect, especially for helping someone else. There's one side for softer skin that should be treated gently, and a second side that provides more thorough exfoliation. I find each brush lasts up to 3 months, which is much better than most scrubbies. The clear handle also has great grip and holds up well. It has lasted closer to 6 months.

This was my first time buying a shower brush so I wasn't exactly sure what to look for. That being said, I'm liking this one so far but there are some points I'll take into consideration next time. Quality-wise, it's pretty good. The two little rubber grips do actually help get a better grip on the handle side. The natural (hard) bristles are very firm which I liked. If you have sensitive skin, though, it might be too rough. The nylon bristles are soft but not flimsy, which I also liked. The only thing that I would think about next time is in regard to the soft bristles. I prefer using bar soaps, which suds the hard bristles just fine, but not as much on the soft side. The soft bristles would probably work better with liquid soap. I'm guessing that brushes with a sponge side are better with bar soaps, but I thought that a brush style would be more hygienic. Just preferences to think about.

I still have this brush over three years later. It works amazing for exfoliating and I use it for my back in the shower. Also helps with body acne. Great quality and I’ve not had an issue with it. Also love that there’s a soft side and a sturdy side for scrubbing.

I was skeptical but thought I’d give it a try. Glad I got it. Firm on one side, soft on the other. No issues with this.👍🏼

Works great! As of 11/23/25, I have not noticed any mold. I do keep it hanging in the shower so that it’s not up against the wall so it’s able to dry easier, but I’ve found with these kinds of scrubbers that that’s not always enough to keep it from getting gross. The bristles are well made, and I haven’t noticed any shedding. I would say that both sides are relatively rough, though the soft side is definitely softer and is the side that I choose to use and it does a really great job of exfoliating. I have tried using my hand/mitt exfoliation afterwards and noticed there wasn’t any skin pilling up, which tells me that this bristle brush does a really good job of exfoliating and can be a great alternative for those who don’t love using mitts, as they can’t be more labor intensive.

Not a terrible shower brush. Bristles are nice and it works. The finish does kinda decay overtime so do keep in mind of that.

Love this loofah. Great how it has a soft and coarse bristles, bristle retention is good. Works amazing. Allows me to reach my back and really feels like it exfoliates. Have bought numerous times over the years when one wears out. Great quality.
