It doesn't have a scent which will be good for those who don't want to smell like coconuts. Men will like this because of that factor. Today everyone has to fit societies roles but this you can use and reap the benefits and not deal with smelling fruity or "fruity". Good product and even better that it is organic. Makes your skin feel great is good for super dry skin or lips. It's versatile with it being for cooking and skin care. It's a cheap but natural and beneficial skin care. Health benefits for the inside and outside of your body.

I personally like that for beauty use, but if you want strong coconut aroma in food, unrefined may be better.A little goes a long way on hair and skin start with a small amount so you don’t over-apply.A great all-around coconut oil that’s affordable and multi-purpose. I keep mine in the pantry and the bathroom! Highly recommend if you want one product that does double duty for beauty and cooking. For ladies that are looking for a leave in conditioner I use this as well and it also helps with dandruff and help your hair grow and keep it shiny. and soft!!

I have used coconut oil around 10 years ago. Nothing more organic oil to cook. Fresh, not processed, It gives a good taste to the food. I also use it for massage. I warm it and it’s so relaxing. Nice aroma. Easy to clean and the texture is very soft. I highly recommend it. So healthy.

We have uses this daily for many years for our dogs for their medications. It works very well and they have no issues taking any meds they need.

This value for organic coconut oil is one of the best I've seen. For under $6, you would usually be getting a low grade non organic junk oil from the grocery store.Refined coconut oil is:- not going to have the coconut taste and smell you might have been expecting if you are new to the product, it very neutral.- whereas it can definitely be used on the skin and hair, it is prepared in a way to allow it to be brought up to higher temperatures before burning and smoking, creating an unwanted taste and texture. For this reason I use refined coconut oil strictly for cooking purposes. If you are wanting to add coconut oil to a smoothie or eat of of the can, or to use on hair and skin, UNREFINED raw coconut oil is what you will want to use.I have rated this oil five stars because it is a nice consistency, well packaged (however I do prefer a glass container), and ability to perform at high heat in the saucepan. We have used this in five recipes so far after only having it for two days. It is firmer than most oils I have tried, but just as the top of the package indicates, it will soften at a very specific temperature, 76 F. I believe this might be a common complaint of this brand, so they have started putting a sticker on the top of the lid ( which is not shown on the amazon website photos.)If it is too hard to scoop out and measure easily, simply submerge the container in warm or hot water for a few seconds. It doesn't take long to loosen up and turn into more of a liquid.Pros:- Refined naturally - many of the cheaper refined oils are done so with a chemical distillation process, usually using lye or other fairly harsh solvents. Refined coconut oil could also be made up of the byproduct of creating dried coconut flakes for baking. This oil is done naturally, and while it doesn't go into detail on the outside of the container, natural refinement usually involves steam separation.- Uniform consistency- Can be used at high temperatures while cookingCons:- This oil is on the harder side of oils I have used in the past, it seems to take a little more heat to make it pliable. Other refined oils I have used are softer sitting at room temperature, so you will almost always need to warm this up a bit (no big deal, just an extra step)If you are wanting a soft, luxurious, and healthy coconut oil to put on your skin and hair, try an organic unrefined, or raw, coconut oil. That will give you that smell and feel you may be looking for topical use. This bottle I'm reviewing would not be enjoyable to take a spoonful of plain, it would be like eating a spoonful of margarine. Raw oil is very tasty, (in my opinion.)

Great refined coconut oil, with no flavour. I'd say the price for the amount you get is reasonable too. My boyfriend doesn't like coconut flavour, so I use this in cooking and baking. Best of all, it has a higher cooking temperature than some other oils, like olive oil, so it's great for roasting stuff too.

No coconut smell or taste. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Thought it was going to be a larger container, should have paid more attention. Saw the same size at the store yesterday for $12.99, which was organic also!
