Watercolors Intense Color Depositing Hair Dye Shampoo, Blue, 8.5 Fl Oz

I've been struggling to keep my hair from turning orange between dye jobs for YEARS. I've always wanted just basic milk chocolate brown hair with some cool sunkissed sheen (lifted from dark brown/black natural hair.) I hate orange or auburn brown. I've tried adding Swarchzoppf blue toner to my dyes, but no matter what, a few weeks go by and my hair is orangey again. But THIS, this is a gamechanger. I can go months without having to re-dye my hair just by using this as a regular shampoo. I use this once or twice a week as a regular shampoo and my hair stays a beautifuly cool brown. Even as the original dye washes out and my hair gets lighter, the blue shampoo keeps the tone nice and cool. It doesn't get on my bath towels or pillowcases either too surprisingly. It somehow rinses clean. Anyhoo, I hope this product never gets discontinued. It's taken me 20 years to find something easy that works. I'm at work, otherwise I'd show a picture of the color of my hair.

I have always wanted to color my hair but didn't want to bleach it. I tell everyone about this product. I love it. Just wash in the color. Do keep in mind that it can/will stain your tub, but the manufacturer does suggest a stain remover

This is a great shampoo for vivid colored hair that is dulled or washed out looking. It does NOT stick to hair that has not been pre-lightened. But if you find that you used a not great dye and it's washing out quickly, (like mine did), then this is the shampoo for you! I would recommend going all the way, as I do, and getting some good color depositing conditioner as well to make it really stand out and stay this way until your roots have grown enough to do your entire color again. With this routine I only do my entire color: bleach roots and color entirety of hair, only 2 times a year! I will be purchasing this again! Use gloves please!!!! And yes you might keep some bleach and a magic eraser around you tub area! But if a little staining is all I have to worry about, then I'm satisfied! It could be more moisturizing and smell better but it does make my hair shine inside or out, as you can see in my pics.. and yes my scalp is a little bit blue.. I'm gonna be honest and tell you I was in a hurry and didn't rinse it like I should have. My fault not the products!

This is an amazing product! I dye my hair with a vivid color about once a year and have to heavily bleach it to get the color to hold. Since it takes a few months for the the bleached part to grow out, I like to maintain the dyed look as long as possible before letting it fade. My stylist recommended this WaterColors the last time I did it and even gave me some to try out, it worked great. For this year I just went out and bought the shampoo after we did the color. I'm heading into one month with the color and it still looks like it is just a few days old. Roots are just starting to show so I boost it every few day. If you want to prolong your color an shampoo without worrying about fading, BUY THIS PRODUCT!

It gave such a refreshing look to my tired old lady white gray hair. Several people commented on how pretty it was, but they couldn't put their finger on what it was they saw. Others who did not know me even complemented how beautiful my mid back length white hair was. I will shampoo another few times to see if I can get the color to develop more intensely. At my age of 61 I have admired the color photos of older women who have their hair artic ice blue but fearful to try a permanent change but now this shampoo is giving me some baby steps to take to deepen the color to see how it fares. I hope to find someone I can trust who can do my color in the artic ice blue. The shampoo is drying initially; however, the results are worth it. So be sure once you shower and shampoo to have a really good OLD towel you don't mind staining and a leave in conditioner and hair treatment to leave on for some time to intensely detangle and soften the hair and give it shine. I was irritated upon arrival as the packaging was a bubble envelop and within there was a very thin bubble plastic cover??? When I opened it, the lid was busted, and color was everywhere and on me. However, I called Amazon immediately and their customer service was supreme! After I reported the issue, they promptly sent me another at no charge. I did suggest to Amazon that whoever packs the product needs to pack in a box with proper packing materials. Be careful as the color easily goes everywhere and gets on everything! It stains fingernails and hands for a little while so use gloves and avoid at all costs getting any of it on anything other than your hair! I would suggest that you keep it in your shower and leave it there!

I like this product because it doesn’t damage your hair as much as dying your hair would do. I leave it about an hour before washing the shampoo off but I heard you can just leave it for 10m and the color will stay, I’m just extra. It stays for like a 4 days in my hair, p.s I also have greasy, thick hair, if you would like to know :) I’m able to use this product at least 2 to 3 times before I’m done with the bottle but if you have thinner hair you can mostly like use it more. It’s great for a quick fix if your in a hurry and don’t want to stain your four head or hands! The color is perfect it really does return ur color :)

I can say it gradually deposits color very well. BUT each time I used this product to touch up my blue it would cause hair to fall out!! It also made my hair feel very VERY dry after using it. Definitely use with caution and follow up with a really good hair mask.

Don't waste your money. This shampoo doesn't work at all. My hair is the exact same shade of silver Grey it started at. I applied it liberally to dry hair, put a shower cap over it, and let it sit for an hour before rinsing it out. My hair looks no different. Not even a SLIGHT hint of a tint. Putting food coloring on my head would have done more than this. Disappointed doesn't quite say what I'm feeling right now as I'm sitting here with hair that isn't tinted, yet smells atrocious. Yes, the shampoo leaves an unpleasant smell behind as well. I wish I could give this zero stars

This shampoo is AMAZING. Dyes your hair every time you shower which helps you extend the blue color and saves you a bit of money. It doesn't stain your shower or the tub either so bonus :) great product

I'm really happy with this product. I tried another blue colours depositing shampoo and my hair fell and smelled terrible after using it. This product just feels like shampoo. I put it in at the start of my shower and rinse it off at the end (aftet about 5 minutes). It puts a lot of colour on the sections of hair I had lightened and puts a blue cast on my grey hair, which I kind of like. But it's pretty much gone after 3 washes with regular shampoo. I don't know how much effect it would have on darker hair.

Keep my colours intense and dyes very well

My hair is totally bleached and this shampoo still doesn't leave as much colour as I'd hoped. Better to just throw some more dye on my hair.
