Does the Ultra Zoom require a break-in period?

Yes. The Ultra Zoom's soft-shell uses body heat to custom form-fit to your foot and ankle. Start by wearing it inside your athletic shoes for 15–20 minutes at a time as it gradually forms for a more personalized, comfortable fit.

What if the Ultra Zoom doesn't seem to fit in my athletic shoe?

Reset your shoelaces. Loosen them fully, insert your foot and brace, then retighten from the toes up. This one-time adjustment creates the extra room needed for the Ultra Zoom to fit comfortably and securely inside your athletic shoe.

Does the Ultra Zoom restrict natural ankle movement?

No. The hinged design allows your ankle to move naturally while working in tandem with the soft-shell to help limit excessive rolling and turning. The result is protected ankle movement without unnecessarily restricting motion.

Can I wear the Ultra Zoom while recovering from an ankle sprain?

Yes. The Ultra Zoom allows protected ankle movement while helping reduce the risk of rolling the ankle again. Natural movement helps maintain blood flow to the affected area while the brace helps protect against further injury during recovery.

Why does the Ultra Zoom use only two straps?

The two Velcro straps sit above and below the ankle joint instead of wrapping it like a traditional lace-up. They stay securely in place for hours without constant tightening or readjustment. Set it and forget it.
