Order a year ago wasn’t. I reordered expecting them to still be unscented (I’m allergic to chemical scents), but nope! They’re now scented, with no notice or update made to the description. VERY UNHAPPY I’m now out $16. **Q: Are the bags biodegradable?** A: There is a difference and wording is misleading. These are compostable and not to be confused with biodegradable. Compost requires oxygen and other micros to break down, ASTM D6400. Biodegradable, what you want if not composting, is done in a environments with little to no oxygen, ASTM D5526. There is a huge difference so look for correct cert. **Q: How thick are these bags?** A: They are 0.015mm or 0.59ml. The same thickness as the bags at my local dog park. The mm rating is printed on the bag. **Q: are these bags scented?** A: One order was unscented, the second was scented. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality and Quantity *by P***S on September 7, 2026* I purchased these bags to carry my baby’s diapers and wet or dirty clothes during the summer. With 600 bags included, they last a long time, which is perfect for my household since we use them every day. One of my favorite features is the lavender scent. It helps make an unpleasant task a little more manageable and smells much better than standard unscented bags. The bags are easy to separate, hold up well during use, and give me confidence that I won't have to worry about leaks. Overall, this is a practical and affordable product that I will continue to purchase. Highly recommended for dog owners who want a large supply of reliable poop bags! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🐾 Cheap, Sturdy, and Actually "Leak Proof" (Shocking, I Know) *by C***. on July 11, 2026* We've cycled through poop bags from Petco, PetSmart, Target, and Walmart, and honestly most were thin and flimsy. They occasionally ripped, and the smell always leaked through when we opened our Diaper Genie (yes, we use one for poop bags, don't judge lol). This brand has been a genuine upgrade. At around $0.03 a bag, it's already a great price, and each box even comes with a free bag holder. They're not the thickest bags out there, but thick enough that we've never had a rip, and smell containment is way better as long as you tie it tight and you barely notice it in the Diaper Genie. We went with the unscented version and have no complaints. Bonus: these bags are big. With 2 corgis, we can fit both dogs' business in a single bag. Efficiency win. Budget-friendly pick that actually delivers on "leak proof" with solid thickness, good odor control, and generously sized. Great value if you're tired of paying more for bags that still rip or smell. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics Dog Poop Leak Proof Bags with Dispenser and Leash Clip, Unscented, 300 Count, 20 Pack of 15, Black, 13 x 9 Inch - Amazon Basics Cotton Swabs for Personal Hygiene and Baby Care, 500 Count, 1 Pack - Amazon Basics Hypoallergenic 100% Cotton Rounds for Makeup Removal and Skincare, 100 Count, 1 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/13371568-dog-poop-leak-proof-bags-with-dispenser-and-leash-clip](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/13371568-dog-poop-leak-proof-bags-with-dispenser-and-leash-clip) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
