The media could not be loaded.  When I first recieved this comb, I thought, I'm going to return it (I was kinda mad that it arrived late)...i decided to open the box anyway and give it a look. When i looked, i thought, I'm definitely going to return, no way this will work on African American hair!! I was WRONG, dead wrong!!!!! See before and after pictures..I made a video to show how it straightened a small section of the mess that I call my hair. Lol.My main concern was my roots.. my hair is relaxed, btw, but i have a bunch of new growth, and i was afraid it would get to it....but it did!!!! This far exceeded my expectations!! So glad I gave it a try!!! This now replaces my hair straightener, which never really straightened my hair anyway!!!P.S. with this comb, took me 45min to straighten my hair...AND, you can straighten in big chunks!!! No frizz!!! Flat iron, with tiny pieces, took 2hrs, and it still looked frizzy. Bye flat iron 👋🏾.

Although it works well, the on/off switch is right where you place you hand to use the item. I’m constantly turning it off and on as I’m doing my hair. Super annoying.

This thing is amazing. Don't hesitate. It gets your hair super straight. Paired it with heat protection and shine serum and it came out amazing. I have curly frizzy fine mixed kid hair that gives me no end of trouble. But this and mentioned products had my hair as tame as a kitten. Just buy it. It's amazing.

I have very thick hair so it didn’t work for me. Had to send it back.

I should be able to wear my hair any way I want and this product gives me that choice. I can wear my hair straight as silk and use a light press and wear it in a wavy or curly.
