The Cheese Knife BKP2 with Patented Cheese Knives Blade, Black

This is my 3rd cheese knife and when this one breaks I'll buy another. Love them. Not terribly durable but on anything but hard cheeses slices perfectly and the slices don't stick to the knife blade. Easy to wash, by hand or dishwasher. My only complaint is really poor packing from this company. The knife was banging around in a way too big box. No paper, nothing, just empty space. Wasteful and lazy. (Really fast shipping, though, but a little more effort would have been appreciated. )

If I go to a house and discover that they don’t own this exact knife, I order one for them. It is the perfect cheese knife, and I cannot be convinced otherwise. It cuts both soft cheeses and hard cheeses with it’s weird step design on the blade of the knife. Stop reading reviews and just buy this one already.

We love the cheese knife. This has become a go to gift for me for house warming, birthday and christmas. Each person I have bought this for wants to know where I bought it because they want to buy as a gift for their friends and family. When entertaining people always ask about it. Great for cheese (of course) but also works great on cake, brownies and bars. Also use it when using my stoneware because it won't scratch. Also love that it goes in dishwasher. I almost never review a product so obviously we are pleased with it!

My friend had one and I thought it being plastic what kind of knife is that? To my amazement she brought out some hard sharp cheddar cheese and the knife cut the cheese with ease much smoother than a stainless steel knife so I bought one and love it!

I love cheese and was unhappy with my cheese knife. I can't recall if it was intended for hard or soft cheese, but I can tell you it does terribly with both. I bought The Cheese Knife based on reviews I saw here and elsewhere online. I like this knife, I wouldn't go so far to say I love it, but it is sturdy and reliable. It doesn't look that way, which I was prepared for. It looks kind of gimmicky and cheap. I debated getting the regular knife, the large or both. If I could do it all over again, I'd get the large one; I think it would be more versatile. I find myself cutting just by the tip when going through wider blocks of cheese.

I was so disappointed when I opened this and saw that it was plastic. But then, I used it! This is the most amazing magical cheese knife I've ever seen. It cuts through cheese like butter and you can easily make thin even slices. It feels a little flimsy, being plastic, but for the price if anything ever happens to it I'll absolutely buy another. If you have kids who love cheese, you need this in your life.

Cuts cheese very nicely. Just be careful when storing. A knife block or similar. It is plastic and will not do well in a drawer of loose utensils. Wipes clean easily.

I was apprehensive at first, but this is the absolute best 'cutter of cheese' that I have found. It cuts through both hard and soft cheeses like butter. The cheeses do not stick to the knife like traditional metal knifes, the cheese gracefully topples from the sides of the knife after each slice, and if after a few glasses (read:bottles) of wine you accidentally 'slip' while cutting the cheese, no worries! This thing is as wino friendly of a sharp object as you can buy! I've accidentally slipped a few times and never once even irritated my skin. Not sure what kind of voodoo went into the creation of this, but I love it!

Great for slicing all cheeses.

A little more expensive than I would like. Great knife.
