It is what it says in the title: Simple (read minimalist), Elegant, Glossy, and Aluminum The hands are a bit flimsy and easily bent, but it's going on your wall and staying there if everything goes as planned, so this shouldn't be an issue. It's well packed by the manufacturer so damage in-transit is unlikely. Try to mount it at a convenient time, like 12:00 or 6:00 to help with alignment. Now that it's mounted, doesn't it look GREAT!? It shines like precious metal and the simple, almost deco elegance of the design make it perfect for telling time as well as showing off your undestated luxurious style.

Great clock and I was really excited to use it. Looks really nice and works fine. Only reason for four stars is because it's REALLY delicate. I was hanging another object on the same wall as the clock and it fell right off the nail. I picked it up off the floor and it was broken. I'm really disappointed. :( So if you buy this clock, be really gentle with it and I would advise taking it off the wall whenever hanging anything else up.

I bought the aluminum wall clock for my mom as a gift. She used it as the center of her "picture clock". She put pictures of her kids for each hour hand. It turned out great! The clock part seems like it is pretty low quality, but it keeps time good enough for what she needs it for. Even if the clock died it wouldn't matter because it is like piece of art work on the wall. The aluminum wall clock uses one battery. I think it holds triple a battery's. She has had it for about 6 months now and it has been keeping time pretty well and have not had to replace the battery. When I was hanging it up it fell off the wall a few times (about a 5 foot drop) and it didn't break, so it's pretty durable. I recommend this product for anyone to use. It is a great gift idea!

Pros: 1. It ticks 2. It's cheap Cons: 1. It ticks...really loudly! Kept me awake until I gave up and removed the battery. Not suitable if you intend to hang it up near your bed. 2. Minor detail, but the inset arrow that is supposedly pointing up towards the 12 O'clock position is out of alignment with the hook behind the clock. Result: the arrow doesn't point straight up when the clock is hung. The arrow isn't very visible at all so it is a minor problem, albeit a slightly infuriating one.

This darling little clock was just what I needed on the wall about 8 feet away from my bed. I can see it even in the early morning hours when the sun is just starting to lighten the sky outside the window on the adjoining wall because of the contrast between it and the wall. Works perfectly so I no longer have to roll completely over in order to see the clock on the nightstand on the other side of me. Have yet to discover if I can see it in the wee small hours with the only ambient light coming from one on the nightstand, but time will tell. If it's really too dark to see it, that tells me something anyway!

Okay, I am going to start out by saying it wasn't exactly what I expected, but I liked them even better in person. I think the picture is a bit bad, they don't look like a beautiful glossy black, which is what they are (I think the word aluminum throws it off), but I LOVE the black. I use these silver/black photo frames with them, and I still think they look incredible with those frames. I was leaning towards the aluminum/silver color because of the accents in the frames, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the black. I haven't put a battery in it yet to know how well it works, but I have had clock hands similiar before (not near as nice of quality) and they worked great. The quality on this is incredible very nice!

Bought this to make a modern clock out of sheetmetal, but was very disappointed with the clock. --Cheap Construction-- I've never felt sheet metal so thin and cheap. Dents accrued by setting the mechanism down without egg gentleness, and the clock hands bent by rotating the clock too quickly. --Doesn't Keep Proper Time-- Worst of all- the clock doesn't keep a constant speed. The mechanism does not have the proper power to move both clock hands upwards (Such as at the 9:45 position). I did try multiple battery sets in the clock to rule out faulty batteries. This means the clock mechanism can't keep proper time...quite a shame.

I read all kinds of negative reviews about this clock and almost didn't buy it. Not so. I've had only good experience - it is a bit flimsy as some say but what does one expect for this price? Nice wall clocks usually don't come this cheap. It's cute, keeps time very well so far (only had it a week) and is super easy to hang - just take care not to bend the hands. I'm very happy with this. It's unobtrusive and the white looks sleek on my taupe kitchen wall. I've had other small, inexpensive battery operated clocks and this seems to work just as well.
