NCM Milano electric bike, Trekking E-bike, 250W, 13AH 624Wh Battery, 26"/28"

A good town bike a bit heavy but powerful enough and good battery range. Rear light dissappeared on the first ride and front light has given up the ghost.FOLLOW UP 9 months on......Updated stars from 4 to 5.Well its 900mls later, yup 900,and its still doing what it should. Pedal assist takes a while till you learn how to get the best from it. Pedal assist can be a bit counter intuitive, if you dont pedal too hard when going up hill it gives a better assist! Go figure.Battery life has shown no signs of lessening and range is as good as when first bought. Steering feels a bit vague at first but this is due to front suspension and other makes I have ridden since feel that way too.Really this is a town and bridlepath bike its a struggle if you need to carry it over unrideable off road sections but then it never claimed to be a mountain but did it.Finish is still as good as it first was and it has seen some use and abuse but washes off nicely. I would liken it to a Morris 1000 if it were a car in that it is a really good all rounder. Now fitted with panniers and front basket its used regularly for shopping and gets heavily loaded at times not just with shopping but picnic stuff too. I hope next years summer is as good as this past one, great memories of cycling and picnics.If/when you get yours get two shake proof star washers from your local garage and fit them between the front light clamp to stop it rotating,overtightening wont work. And make sure the rear lamp lens has some tape around it to stop the lens falling off, these faults can be forgiven in the scheme of things as the quality of the rest of the bike more than makes up for these shortcomings.If this, as it was for me, your first venture into Ebiking then I would recommend this bike. I have tried quite a few others before and since and I still come back to this one as my favourite.

 Great city electric bike for going about town but also riding on dirt trails. The battery makes this an easy choice even if you load the bike heavily, as the assist from the motor kicks in when you need it; just pedal and it acts like an accelerator. You can adjust the levels of assistance from the display panel on the cockpit of the bike, on the left handlebar. The handles and seat are wrapped in very nice, brown hand-stitched leather that give this an extra touch of high quality that you rarely see these days from mass producers of bikes. The battery has a USB port so you can charge a mobile phone, but also the bike has additional front and back lights, and excellent mudguards, so no weather is going to be an issue. Construction of the bike is rock-solid, something that really shows on the adjustable handlebar: one switch allows to make the cockpit higher, so if you are tall the bike certainly can be adjusted to your needs. Overall this is a very very comfortable bicycle. I have ridden mountain and city bicycles before and for every day rides for leisure or shopping I would choose no other!

Very well packaged within a robust cardboard box, my new NCM Milano arrived in immaculate conditions and this certainly shows care and love for the product.Out of the box, it took me literally 5 minutes to set it up to my riding position, very good components, clear (English) instructions, battery provided fully charged and as I never had an electrically assisted bicycle before I couldn't resist to go for my first ride around the town straightaway! (I left garage door completely open, don't tell my wife please!)Riding the bicycle is absolutely relaxing and comfortable, well done NCM, top quality leather handles and "Royal Selle" saddle combined with a well tuned fork suspension make riding absolutely a pleasant experience.Every component transmits a sense of quality and attention for details: the brake levers are fully adjustable and they have a rubber insert to increase finger's grip, one USB port that has charged any of my portable devices, reflective tyre sidewalls, sturdy but stylish rear pannier rack, the battery pack is removable by unlocking the perfectly integrated locking mechanism (2 keys included), but it could be also charged on bike by removing the flush rubber cover that prevents water/dirt ingress into the plug, the neat installation of the battery pack on the lower pipe of the frame and its charge level display is easily accessible whilst well protected against accidental damage.Talking about the electric assistance now, I have to give another "well done NCM" as they managed to smoothly integrate the assistance of this seriously torquey motor that irons out slopes and, in my opinion, this is a very strong point in their favour as they made all that torque easily accessible to any cyclist. And it is quiet too! On top of that the display on the handlebar allows you to set motor output according to your need and taste, super intuitive to use and provide plenty of information about the system and your riding.About the battery range, I am fairly impressed as it has just dropped 1 bar after one week of normal usage around the town, I am really pleased about.Last but not least, NCM attention to design, construction and assembly also make it look great!!!Well done, NCM!!!

My wife and I purchased two NCM Milano e-bikes in May 2018 after renting identical versions of the e-bikes, whilst on holiday. We were taken by surprise by the fun we had on holiday. We were able to ride the e-bikes much further and for longer than would have been possible with regular pedal bikes.Our new Milano e-bikes arrived well packaged and the e-bikes were in perfect condition. It took minutes to assemble them and because the battery was charged we were able to use them immediately. The 26” versions were big enough even though we are both quite tall.The NCM Milano e-bikes are high quality and well designed. The standard of manufacture is excellent. They are robust, but nevertheless sleek in design and easy to ride. They definitely belong to the latest generation of e-bikes and we also believe they are really good value. Certainly from our experience, we recommend them.
