I have THICK natural curly hair and I have never found a better product than this. It is sticky, but I also use a hair dryer diffuser attachment and then finish with the hair spray. So if you don't blow dry it with a diffuser yes it will be sticky until it dries. **Q: Is this meant to be applied to wet hair?** A: While my hair is still somewhat wet, I use it, however you can use it to lay down thin hairs that stick up.Thats what I do.
