Astell&KernDiana Earphones - Gunmetal

Very nice quality ear buds from A&K to compliment my SR25 DAP. Bass quality is excellent without being overbearing and suits all of my musical tastes. Not sure about their robustness when traveling but I use them at home so this isn’t necessarily a problem for me. They come with an attractive case but this doesn’t have any means to prevent their tangling when stored away. The colour, design and fit are all top quality. Glad I bought them - recommended!

Excellent clear sound quality. Best earphones I have ever owned in terms of sound. Clear bass, miss and trebles.Hear lots of detail not heard before with inferior buds / cans.Previously had Sony hear on 2 - they are inferior sound to these, but not bad.These Billie Jean earphones are Powerful and loud. They look good too. Easy to adjust around ears and light weight. Pairs well with with Astell & Kern players.Negatives: Only silicone tips supplied - they don't have a tight fit and some people (like myself) are allergic. Foam tips would have much better fit and promote noise isolation. Cord seems a little too long. Always worried about it getting caught. Unclear if this can be used with balanced cable...only unbalanced cable provided and instructions are minimal.

Fantastic in ear monitors.I have the One More Triples which I thought were pretty good but these here are in a different league.They bring out depth,separation, and sound that no other IEM`s or even full size earphones can that I have recently tried with some costing a lot more.Very comfortable to wear for hours on end,they hook over the ears so stay stable.Sound quality is great,comfort is great,value for money..well a brilliant sound every time I use them but not cheap.Very happy to recommend.

Had them for all of an hour, sounded great and a nice comfy fit. Un plugged the cable from the pins to put away in case and when I plugged them back in later ( and I pushed them in gently ) Crack ! A split appears on the inside near the nozzle 😭 I know the housings are plastic being the budget end of JH audio / Astell Kern but this should not happen ! Sent back and didn't want I replacement just incase it's a design flaw which is a shame as they really do punch well above the price they sell at. Settled on the new ibasso IT01S which are £100 cheaper and superb. Not saying don't buy ... Just be really careful if your Un plugging or swapping cables and remember they are 0.75 pins not the standard 0.78 !

Headline pretty much says it: these are the best sounding things I've ever put in/on my ears. Unfortunately, after 2 months of normal use (just out of the return period), the left earphone's connection block became loose, hence the left earphone started cutting out. Get something with more than 2 pins if you go similar. Just unfortunate you won't get sound quality this good at this price.

Really disappointing. Dreadful sound, dull sound at the lower ranges with a lack of clarity when playing high res music. A number of tracks when played through a Astell DAP were unlistenable. Tried Bowers and Wilkins and AKG headphones with the Astell SR 25 and the sound was perfect. Diana’s absolutely the worst headphones I’ve ever had.

Extraordinary sound if it's paired with a suitable source. I'd you dont own a good audio player it's actually not economical to get these. If you do own a good one, these will complete the audiophile experience.

First time using or seeing these earbuds. They have different sized soft rubber surrounds that fit nicely in your ear. The around the ear fit is comfortable and secure, good sound

Der Preis war absolut der "Hammer" (...halber Preis, doppelte Qualität). Die technische Seite ist herausragend. Eines kann ich bestätigen: Harvey hat wesentlich dazu beigetragen! Seit dreißig Jahren genieße ich Audioqualität. Diana ist ein Meisterstück. AK

Premetto che ho acquistato questi IEM come prodotto usato, quindi ad un prezzo più basso. Gli auricolari sono arrivati nei tempi indicati da Amazon e l'unica differenza che ho trovato tra questo prodotto usato e quello nuovo è la scatola già aperta. Prodotto impeccabile, senza graffi e ancora perfettamente confezionato, presumo che il reso sia stato fatto senza nemmeno provare il prodotto.Arriviamo al dunque, avevo letto delle buone recensioni su questi auricolari e così mi sono lasciato tentare dall'acquisto. Al primo ascolto (mai giudicare un prodotto audio senza un opportuno burn in) le basse fequenze risultavano invadenti, la gamma media incassata e le alte frequenze con un vistoso roll of. Dopo circa 20 ore di rodaggio (ho lasciato gli auricolari collegati al mio telefonino riproducendo musica continuatamente a volume medio) ho notato dei cambiamenti significativi sulla qualità audio; la gamma bassa era divenuta meno enfatizzata, guadagnando in statificazione, continuava ad esserci un buon slam ma senza sbavature e perdita di controllo, la gamma media aveva acquisito più presenza ma le voci continuavano ad essere levigate (più belle) ma poco naturali, mentre le alte frequenze iniziavano a brillare.Dopo circa 40 ore di utilizzo (presumo che il rodaggio possa essere considerato quasi concluso) ho compreso la vera qualità di questo prodotto; basse frequenze presenti ma senza invadere la gamma media, elevato controllo ed impatto, ottima stratificazione e ricca di dettagli, la gamma media ora è più in avanti e le voci ricche di sfumature, mentre le altre frequenze sono presenti ma molto raffinate donando aria tra gli strumenti ed un bel effetto tridimensionale al palco virtuale. Pur essendo degli IEM la dimensione del palco è impressionante, forse meglio dei miei AKG K550 (modificate). Con le buoni registrazioni e con la giusta apparecchiatura il risultato diventa ancora più evidente, sono molto sensibili e per questo motivo richiedono poca potenza, funzionano a meraviglia anche con un buon smartphone. E' importante utilizzare i gommini della giusta misura altrimenti si perde tutta la magia, quindi, molta attenzione nella scelta dei gommini. Ho testato questi Billie jean con due smartphone; Samsung S10+ e Samsung S7, Amp/dac esterno "Ugo" della Chord ed un lettore di file digitali Xduoo X10T II. Ovviamente il migioramento era tangibile con le apparecchiature di qualità superiore ma vi posso garantire che con un discreto telefonino il risultato è molto appagante. Consiglio questo prodotto a chi vuole ascoltare tutti i generi di musica con un elevato livello qualitativo e senza fare un mutuo in banca.

J'ai toujours voulu une pair d'intra typé haut de gamme, voir semi-pro. J'ai acheté ce produit pour ces caractéristiques techniques, mais aussi pour le sérieux et la réputation d'Astell & Kern, et surtout pour leur design. Ces écouteurs sont, à la base, censé être utilisé pour les musiciens mais ils font également l'affaire pour écouter sa musique avec son baladeur (Onkyo DPX1A). Etant un grand amateur de BO et de Métal, j'avais besoin d'intra pouvant m'apporter beaucoup de basse mais de façon hyper détaillé. Le résultat est bluffant, jamais je n'avais entendu des basses aussi précises. Le reste de la scène sonore n'est pas laissé de côté pour autant, on a le droit à un son bien ouvert, extrêmement large et clair.Pour ce qui est du design, ils sont beaux, très beaux avec ce rouge vif. Le câble tressé en kevlar à l'air très solide. Le seul bémol de ce fantastique produit concerne les accessoires, en effet, il n'y a, fourni avec, qu'une boîte de transport (relativement petite pour la taille des écouteurs) et quelques paires d'embout en silicone. Comparé à d'autres marques comme Audio Technica ou Shure, cela semble très léger car dans cette gamme de prix on s'attend à recevoir, les embouts en silicone et en mousse à mémoire de forme, ainsi que l'instrument de nettoyage. Surtout que dans les précédente version comme la série Mitchelle, un câble symétrique était fourni avec !Quoiqu'il en soit Astell & Kern va à l'essentiel en se focalisant sur le son de ses intra.Outre le fait, que l'isolation passive des bruits ambiants, manque un peu de sérieux, ces écouteurs sont d'une redoutable efficacité que ce soit pour lire vos Mp3 ou vos fichiers HiRES.Dommage qu'ils soient si peu connus car c'est un très bon produit que je conseille à tous les audiophiles ou à ceux qui veulent redécouvrir leur bibliothèque.
