How close together can the 3rd tier arms go?** A: You will have the most adjustability at a standing height (which is what the picture depicts). The base of this is an x-stand, so how wide you spread the x will determine how wide a keyboard you need on the bottom tier. The angles of the support arms are adjustable at the bottom tier and the middle tier. The closest I could get the middle tier at sitting height (bottom widest x setting) was about 12 inches (that would still allow for a bottom-tier keyboard beneath it). The wider the spread between adjacent tiers as to narrow-wide, the more the height of each keyboard becomes a potential issue, but there is a lot of adjustability available. I use mine with a 76-key on the bottom and two 61-keys above it, so width of the keyboard is not a problem for me. **Q: Can you remove the top tier 3rd if you don’t need it** A: Yes it can be removed. **Q: Can the bottom tier accomdate an 88 key keyboard w/ two 61 key keyboards on the 2nd and 3rd tier?** A: It probably could, but I have a 77 key keyboard on the bottom of mine and use a separate stand for my 88 key because it is very heavy **Q: how much can the second tier be tilted?
