Can you use this interfacing for zippers on a jersey knit?

I guess you could. I use it for reinforcing shoulder seams and on hems for a nice crisp coverstitch hen.

Is this made of polyester?

I don't know but it is a knit interfacing material. definitely not cotton. it is wonderful for stabilizing shoulders in knit garments or for hemming with knit garments.

Yes! it is for knits - but mainly to stabilize the knit necklines, armholes, etc. So, even though it is stretchy, you would not want to put it into neckbands that have to stretch alot to go over your head, etc.
