I bought this clock for my mum who was always moaning about not having a clock at the right time. I showed her how to get the time on the TV and that it is on the phone but she just likes to have a clock. This one ticked all the boxes, it has high contrast black and white so is easy to read, size wise it is big enough that she can see it from her seat. The icing on the cake is that it sets itself to the right time. I just put a battery in it and the hands moved round a rotation, then it sat for a few minutes then set itself to the correct time. My mum was delighted and asked why all clocks were not like this, I didn't have an easy answer other than saying cost, but to be honest it was not that much dearer. The clock was of a good construction, not too heavy that you need an anchor on the wall just a small screw and maybe a wall plug if you are in a hollow wall. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a clock that is accurate and doesn't need the internet, one thing to point out is that it does tick but that is the nature of a second hand and it was not advertised as silent. Just something to consider if the ticking might bother you.

The clock is bigger than I thought it would be, but that is not a problem. It is clearly of good quality. It started up as soon as we put in the battery, stuck at 12.00 for a while, but then moved to the correct time via the radio signal within a couple of hours. Has been working well ever since. It is not totally silent but makes a soft 'clunk' sound which is quite pleasant. Lovely clear numbers and clock hands. There were problems with the delivery though, the initial delivery person failed to ring the doorbell and took it away despite the fact that we were in, which was annoying. It was delivered 2 days later. Not the fault of the manufacture,r though!

Good quality and easy instructions to set up came well packaged and nice design

Out of the box and battery in. The first time it set itself it was out by an hour ,so as per the instructions, I pressed the red button on the back to force it to recieve the signal and left it to it. Half an hour later the clock had set itself to the correct time and we were good to go. Although it is a bit bigger than I thought it would be - I don't know why I thought it would be smaller - I checked the size before I bought! But as it's in the kitchen I can live with it. The clock is easiy to read with bold numbers on the white face and the aluminium frame makes it reasonably unobtrusive. My old kitchen clock was wrong 6 months of the year (like my car clock) because it was awkward to reach. This clock is in the same place, but if it does what it says on the tin and alters itself when the clocks change from BST I'll be quite happy with my purchase.

Nice clock

This clock has replaced our previous one we had for some time in our kitchen. The beauty of this is that being radio controlled it set the accurate time once we read and then followed the instructions - i.e. place the battery in, leave it laying down away from electrical goods for several hours - up to 12 hours. Once the battery was put in the second hand did start to move and we then left it as instructions told us to. Looked at it before the 12 hours (I believe it was 12 not 24 - can't quite remember) and it was just one hour out, which we thought was because of the summer clock time change but thought we'd leave it for the full time, then fine we could alter that hour but - it did correct itself before that last hour - amazing.

I buy bought clock to replace my old quartz clock which made an awfully loud and annoying tick tock sound especially at night. This one also does have a bit of ticking sound but no where near my old quartz clock. As a radio clock, it is pinpoint accurate to the second (checked with my phone's clock and BBC). Setup is also easy as all you do is pop in the AA battery and wait between 15 minutes to 24 hours as per the instructions. Although, mine set itself up within 5 minutes after I had put in the battery. The brushed aluminium finish makes the clock look attractive and expensive. My only fault with it is that the arms could have been silver instead of black. But that's just me being fussy.
