How is this sugar free if it has corn syrup??

Yes it does have corn syrup but it’s one of the smallest ingredients. It’s listed as a sugar alcohol. But the 8gm is sugar alcohol are way less then the sugars in regular syrup. My family enjoys it. Which we haven’t found in any other (sugar free) syrup.
