Tripoley Deluxe Board Game, Family Favorite Game, Combination of Michigan Rummy, Hearts and Poker, Perfect for Family Game Night, for Ages 8 and up

this one of our family's favorite games... and it's hard to find anymore... We've had so many versions over the years.. Our favorite is old style lazy susan but honestly those are close to million bucks if you can find one! It's not THAT cool! This one is just a felt mat.. but what the heck. The price was the best. The game itself it so fun... because it moves fast - so everyone stays engaged - It's best to play with at least 3 people - it's perfect with 4 or 5 - just my opinion. We have played with various "chips"... plastic gold dubloons... even dried kidney beans! Currently we use 4 different colors of poker chips - each person has there own color and tray- makes it easier to separate at the end of the game. If you love a game you can visit and laugh and one that moves quickly - this is the game for you to try!

My dad taught us how to play this back when we young kids - probably about 35 years ago, and has always been a good stand by when the family gets together. About a year ago, we introduced the game to my sister's husband , and he enjoys it as much as the rest of us! The old mat we had was vinyl and was being held together with duct tape, so a couple years ago, I decided to update and I bought this set. The mat is felt and seems to be holding up really well. We don't use the chips - my dad has a huge tin of pennies and we always start out with a hundred each. With 3-4 people playing the game can usually last two to three hours, and usually gets pretty rowdy...especially when someone hits the jackpot with an 8-9-10!!! I would highly recommend this game - well worth the money. In fact, I've decided to purchase one for my sister & her husband as a housewarming gift!

Super fun game, I have purchased these as gifts as our friends love to play…you can’t go wrong with this!!! Just know, you will definitely need more chips even when playing with just a few people!!!

As advertised

Of all the gifts my grandson got for Christmas, we played Tripoli! Fun for the entire family. Cards could be better quality (4 stars for that reason), but you can use regular cards. Premiers are more fun than chips. 100 per player works great! Have fun and don’t forget to take the pot!

Fun game well done!

This is a very fun game ... usually play with 6 to 8 people. We have some better quality poker chips to use and that makes if easier to bet and place chips on the mat. So glad we learned about this game!!

We’ve been playing Tripoley for a lot of years with a regular group of 7-8 players. Our son borrowed our game about a month ago and hasn’t returned it, so we just decided to buy another one. This set comes with a 24”x24” felt mat, 100 plastic chips, and a deck of cards. The felt mat is of medium-weight and works just fine. It’s much better than the plastic mats that come with some sets because your cards and chips don’t slide around. Our last mat was a little heavier, but this one should still stand up to a lot of use. You’ll probably want more than the 100 chips that came with it. We use our much heavier 11.5 gram poker chips, but you can also buy another 100 of the same plastic chips for $6 or $7 here on Amazon. Tripoley is pretty easy to learn, if you’ve never played before. It’s really just Hearts, Poker, and Michigan Rummy, played in that order. When we play with the grandkids we use M&Ms instead of chips, and that makes this one of their favorite games to play at our house. Kids can be very competitive when chocolate is at stake. This is a good set for the money, and I’d happily recommend it to friends and family.
