Great hammock...can't write too much as I need to take a nap in it!

I purchased this hammock December of 2019 and it just now broke June of 2025. It has been outside in the snow, rain, wind and sun. For $60 I think five and a half years is great!!!! Just ordered another one. It’s the ropes that snapped.

This hammock is what my daughter picked out for her 12th birthday. It's stable, good material, can fit 2 adults on it and it comes as pictured. The color matched the picture and is white. Not sure how we will clean it with it being outside. The rope material is stretchy and that is the downfall if you do not have trees, post or steaks that will reach far enough apart to make the hammock tight and stretched. We unfortunately, as of now, do not have posts or trees far enough apart and when she lays in it she is nearly to the ground. If you can get the hammock far enough apart that it is tight I believe it will not touch or be close to the ground. Other than that, my daughter says it's comfortable and she loves it!

This hammock is great. I recently made the decision that the two trees in my backyard might hold me in a hammock. They are not very wide trees, maybe a little less than a foot in diameter, but I figured the more time I wasted not being in a hammock was a travesty. This world we live in is full of stress, depression, grief, and many other harmful things, but when you are in your hammock all your troubles drift away on the breeze. You may be asking yourself if this is the time in your life where you accept the hammock into it. I finally made the choice to become one with the hammock and it was the greatest decision I have made in a long time. As far as this particular hammock goes, I have been very satisfied with it. I went with the wide 450lb max 2 person hammock because I thought this would spread out my 250 pounds more evenly and produce less stress on my not so huge trees. The hammock was easy to set up. It came in a long box that I just opened and then was able to unroll the hammock and it was ready to set up. I bought some straps to go with it and set those up on my trees and then used supplied (by the hammock) S hooks to attach the hammock to the straps. I am glad I got the wider 2 person hammock. I will probably never have two people in this hammock at the same time but the extra width gives me a great hammock experience by letting me stretch out and lay in it a number of different ways. One of my favorite ways to lay in it is corner to corner so the hammock just cradles me as I sway gently in the breeze. I probably could not do this with a smaller thinner hammock. TL;DR A great hammock at a great price.

It is working great so far. NOTE - as some negative reviews have mentioned, it stretches...exactly as one should expect of a cotton rope hammock. So you tighten up the chain/strap a bit and use it. Might stretch a bit more but just another tightening and you should be good to go. I went thru 2 tightening cycles and now it is working perfectly. The spreader bars appear solid and durable. The mesh holes are of an appropriate size, cause no issues and are comfortable. The cotton rope looks well made and strong. I am very happy with the quality especially considering how less costly this product was compared to others. I just received it so no idea how it'll last over the years but I see nothing to indicate that I shouldn't achieve many happy summers of use. Excellent value for the money.

Sinks too low!!!! My stand measures 146 in. from hook to hook with the ability to pull inward to fit smaller hammocks. This hammock is said to be 132in from ring to ring. Once on the stand It seems to stretch tight parallel to the ground, but my son sat on it and it sank to the ground. He weighs approx. 145lbs.

It's strong and sturdy. Get a small outdoor pillow for your head and neck to really enjoy this. Take it in during the winter so the ropes don't get brittle - they can eventually lose strength and break.
