Micro-Nutrient Face and Body Natural Protein Tan Enhancing Emulsion 5oz (147.85ml)

I recently purchased Glow Fusion Micro Nutrient Face and Body Natural Protein Tan Enhancing Emulsion from Oranges to Dollars through Amazon. I received this product within a week through the postal service. The packaging was impeccable. The product is remarkable. I use this in combination with the Glow Fusion spray tan gun filled with Ocean 12.5%. Overall I am very pleased with this product

I am not too happy with this. It has a weird smell to it and I didn't see any kind of color from it. I will not be buying this in the future.

I have a lovely, natural *sun-kissed* tan, and I was hoping to "extend and enhance" the tan, as this product promises. I am not seeing results.The positives: The product goes on smoothly and dries quickly. It's neither sticky nor thick, as some products of this type can be. However, at only 5-ounces, it's very easy to go through this bottle quickly, almost too quickly.Overall, for it's current, list price, I think there are better products out there. May be best used with other products in the line, but I wouldn't buy it again.

From reading other reviews about this product, I was convinced that it wouldnt have that "fake tan" kind of smell. But as soon as I put it on you could tell it was a "fake tan". I also read that it would be "streak free" I had a few streaks. Other than that it did give me a natural looking sun-kissed tan.

I have been using the GlowFusion self-tanner for several years, and was excited to try this companion product. This is designed to be used over the top of the self-tanner; it helps blend it, and and also contains some active tanning ingredient itself. Because of this, you can also use it between full self-tanner applications to maintain the color. In that way, it is similar to some of the "gradual tanning lotion" products that have become popular. (But I'm not sure what kind of results you'd get using this product alone.)I was surprised at the texture of the product. I expected it to be more like lotion, but it is completely oil-free and non-emollient. So it really has no "slip" or "glide" when you spread it on your skin. Now on the upside, this means that the product soaks in immediately and does not transfer to your clothing. The first time I applied it, I worried it would be streaky because of this fast absorption - however, it didn't turn out that way. Since then, I have applied plain lotion first before applying this product, and I have a much easier time spreading it.Off-label use: I have also tried mixing it with some of the self-tanner liquid in a small dish, and applying it that way. This seems to work well -- and you don't spray so much product in the air. See my review of the self-tanner spray for more application tips.The one criticism I have of this -- and the self-tanner product -- are that they are both full of alcohol, which isn't great for the skin. However, I have never experienced irritation. (I only use these products on my legs. If you use it on your face, your mileage may vary.)

I noticed people were giving this bad reviews. It seems they are not using this product properly.This is NOT a self-tanner and SHOULD NOT be used by itself. It is meant to complement and be used in conjunction with GlowFusion Natural Protein Tan. It works well when used with that product. I would not use this by itself and I'm sure that what they are stating is true.I really like the GlowFusion Natural Protein Tan, and I love using these two products together. The tanner gives great "natural" color and doesn't over-do it. You can layer the tanner (not the emulsion) to get better results. What this product, the Emulsion, does is: it extends the tan you've given yourself with the GlowFusion Natural Protein Tan. I find that if I use this immediately after using the Spray Tan, it helps to eliminate any streaking you may have had from applying the tan - it evens it out, moisturizers your skin and enhances your tan.It also can be used to extend the life of your tan by applying just this over your tan base. You can do this every two-three days after using the GlowFusion Natural Protein Tan. It helps the tan to last up to 2 weeks, the longest I've ever had a tan last.I've tried a lot of products, and this one remains one of my favorites. Granted, it doesn't smell great - none of them do. This also isn't the worst smelling product out there. Honestly? A little trick? Just apply your tan at night, wait the alotted time and take a shower. Or sleep in it and shower. The smell is gone. Also, if you can't shower, a little perfume easily covers the smell, it's not overpowering.The color is great and this product is wonderful for enhancing & extending the GlowFusion Natural Protein Tan.
