Awesome coloring is a bit clear shiny and has some sparkling to it

I've tried a couple holographic paints and this is definitely my Favorite! The paint is ready to spray right out of the bottle and shoots nicely at 12-15 psi. Dark (esp. Black) glossy curved surfaces show the effect well. Showed the effect well over a well dried acrylic gloss clear coat (which actually may not be the best choice for this type of paint.) If a clear coat is applied over the paint the effect goes from holographic to a uniform gorgeous multi-color sparkle effect. (One holographic brand I tried the effects just vanished so I'm really impressed with this one.) The solvent smell is somewhat strong so good ventilation and/or a paintbooth is needed. But it dries quickly. I adhesion tested a black polystyrene spoon (only rubbed on shirt and not even solvent cleaned) and the paint held on after masking tape was applied and even survived shipping tape! after a 30 minute dry time - That's Impressive! Bottom line is for ease of application, intensity of effect, and adhesion, this paint is my favorite holographic. I'm buying another bottle for my inventory.

Upon the first day of delivery I decided to try it for the first time. I stir the bottle very well and noticed that there was no colored glitter whatsoever. So thinking that this is how its supposed to work, I tested on a small area of my project. When the "GLUE" eventually dried clear, there was no colors just a glossy finish as I all I did was applied a coat of clear paint. So disappointed. Maybe I got a bad batch due to poor quality control, who knows. I put in for a refund right away. I did the same for another product from this company. I brought a bottle of Color shifting "Flash Blue" and all I got was a Metallic purple color. Now I need to prime the whole project over again and start from zero.

Used it like a top coat, got beautiful results in just two coats, exactly what I wanted. You should see it in motion! This is not a paint. It’s a clear glaze that adds a holographic glitter shimmer to an already painted object. Some reviews seem like they expected a glitter paint, which this will not work for as the glitter isn’t dense enough. Spectrum shifting is more obvious on evenly rounded or curved surfaces, such as this treasure chest in my image. Colors look more random on uneven surfaces because the light is hitting it at more random angles. It definitely doesn’t work quite as well on lighter surfaces, which is to be expected. More than 3 coats and it gets gummy and sticky, so don’t over do it All in all though, I’m very happy and already need another bottle.

Whoever invented this, you SEE me!!! A hint of sparkles, sheer over other colors while adding a bit of glam, some whimsy, I love it. I used it over black matte acrylic paint and the results were lovely (OK if I were to use my own words here, I would say results were beautiful) I glazed over a glass bottle and then sprayed with a triple thick acrylic glaze and it held. I am looking forward to try the other 3 or 4 colors that come in this glaze.

So there were quite a few mixed reviews on this product and other colors, so I got multiple colors to try. The full spectrum is not like pictured . It's basically a shiny glitter coat. The glitter specs I'd say are full spectrum but you can't really see it. So depending on the project it's a nice topcoat for a little bit of sparkle. I compared it to their red violet blue shift and side by side this one is lacking. The red violet blue is definitely more glitter so you get a little more of the shift affect. With the negative keep in mind it is a topcoat not just a color shifting paint. So the under color makes a big difference in what you'll see. It's not a bad product just mis advertised for what it does. I'll still use it on pieces that fit what it actually does.

You need maybe 3 layers for ultimate sparkle but HOT DANG does it have a ton of sparkle per drop! Great value and ease of use. Kinda stinky but you should be in a ventilated space anyway. High quality, good transparency behind the sparkle. Great color and thickness.

beautiful pigments which create an irridescent sparkling finish and can be used over dark or light colours ( I think the effect is better over dark personally) This is the full spectrum shift but it's also available in a variety of other colours and am looking forward to trying the violet-blue-green shift

I Very disappointed with this product. Bought for a project im working on with my son and decided to pay out for this expensive holographic paint which I thought would be worth it if it good quality and gives the holographic effect advertised. I was really excited for this paint to arrive however, when we used this paint, it was like thin PVA glue and we couldn’t see any holographic glitter at all. We decided to wait until the paint was fully dry, hoping that it would look better once dry. However this was not the case. We couldn’t actually see any holographic or even glitter effect in this paint whatsoever. In the end, we had to pay out an extra £8 to purchase some fine holographic glitter to mix into the paint which gave us the desired effect. We would not recommend this paint at all. Especially for the price, it is not worth the money, at all. I should have read the previous reviews of this product which also state it does not provide the holograph effect. If you’re looking for some paint with a holographic effect, save your money and buy some PVA glue and some fine holograph glitter, you’ll get a much better result and you’ll also save money!

i have a $3 glitter that is sooo much better than this. arrived ok but disappointed in the product
