Sea-Band Children's Wrist Bands 1 Pair

These worked wonderfully for our children on the airplane. They were comfortable and very easy to use. Convenient carrying cases were easy to place in our backpack.

I actually prefer the child-sized Sea-Bands over the adult version. The tighter fit provides better pressure, which really helps manage my nausea and imbalance. They work great for controlling that 'rocky' feeling during travel and everyday life.

I've used these before, borrowed from a friend. We were on a boat and my 7 year old got seasick. We put them on and within 20 minutes he was fine. These really do work for us. I see some reviews where they didn't, and the only guess I can make is that, like medication, not everything works for everyone. I like the fact that they're drug-free. I also feed him ginger (both crystalized and pickled) and that works very well for nausea too. The problem with ginger is that its a strong flavor, and a little sharp on the tongue. I happen to have a 7 year old who loves it, but most won't. Also, the ginger is perishable, where I can keep these in my purse or glove box indefinitely. I highly recommend these. And, the shipping was super-fast. The reason for only 4 stars is: I ordered these for my son, and, from another retailer, the "adult" size for me. They are the exact same size, and the exact same size as my friend's "adult" ones. So, I paid 2 separate shipping charges, for the exact same product. The colors may be "kid friendly" (mine really weren't, though), but the size is the same.

Update from my original post below, we contacted sea bands and they responded immediately with a new pair to replace the fraying one. Great service! Well my daughter loves them (we bought them for her to wear on the long bus ride to/from school), the color and fit are great, and they seem to work, but it’s been less than 2 weeks and they’re already tearing apart at the seams! I’ve contacted Sea Bands to see if they can do anything, we may return them. I’ll update this post with our end results…picture attached.

We’ve travelled to the same beach condo 3 years in a row. We leave the same time every year, drive the same route, in the same vehicle and the past 2 yrs my son (now 7) has gotten so car sick we’d have to pull over several times and sit outside at a rest stop up to an hour before he can manage to get back into the car without getting sick. The first year, what we call puke-a-polooza, he got sick, throw up all over himself and the backseat, his older sister next to him, saw the puke, and threw up all over herself and her side of the backseat. So we spent over an hour at a car wash vacuuming out the car and trying to remove the stench from the car. We had only driven 3 hours and had another 7hrs to go! Back to these bands. I’ve tried the medication and the stickers behind the ear. None seemed to work. Got these bands because I wasn’t taking any chances this year and really didn’t want to extend our traveling time. Put the bands on him about an hour into the drive. Roughly 30 minutes before we got to the spot where he always seems to get sick (talking to you Virginia) and he was perfectly fine! We didn’t have to stop any additional times for sickness. Wore them on the way there and back and no sickness, no crying, and most importantly NO puke. Comfortable fit. A little snug but not constricting. Easy to wear and fit in cute little compact. The only negative is I ordered the blue pair for my blue loving son and we got army green. I’d imagine they work exactly the same, but that’s my only negative thing about these. I’ve already ordered myself an adult size for myself. Seriously if anyone in your family gets car sick, get these! You’ll thank me and these bands!

We got a pair of pink bands in the mail, which work for us since we have a little girl. We liked the idea of not having to give our daughter medication for her severe car sickness. She usually gets sick after 20 minutes in the car. She liked her "bracelets" and we were looking forward to trying them. On our first trip, we drove an hour and she did not get sick once. We did a few more trips that were about an hour long, and she was alright. We were amazed. Then we tried a 1 1/2 hour trip. We were 5 minutes from our destination when our daughter got really sick. Same thing on another trip little over an hour. We think this is a decent product and is alright for "shorter" road trips (depending on your definition of short, of course). However, we need something more dependable when we are away from home.

These fit my toddler perfectly and seem to be helping. I love the travel case so I can throw them in a bag when we're on the go. I will be purchasing more.

Highly recommend! My 5 year old used these on a cruise and they made a huge difference! I was skeptical at first, but they really work. They aren’t uncomfortable, he forgot he was wearing them most of the time and they held up well for the week he used them!

The product really works.

I accidentally bought the child size, but used them while I waited for the adult bands to arrive. They work pretty well, but they are very tiny and cut off the circulation in your wrists after a while. Even my little sister with down syndrome who has tiny wrists got red marks on her wrists after wearing them for a bit.
