Super light and easy it's very flexible and the brim is nice and wide so it always blocks the sunlight from my face. I have pale blue eyes so I need to have the protection from the Sun and this works really well. The material is lightweight and it's sort of a material that you would have like a windbreaker. I have two colors blue and gray and I'll probably buy more because I love these hats I'm not really one to wear hats but these visors are really nice I take the top off because I like just remain cool I live in a very dry hot area. These would be perfect for when you go camping or hiking or for travel. It also be great for working in the yard gardening mowing the lawn to protect your face and your eyes from the sunlight.

This sun hat is very nice. I bought one for myself and then sent one to my sister. They are lightweight, beautiful pastel colors and I love the wAy it can be made into a visor. I have long hair so getting a hat that you can ponytail or wear a bun with is very convenient. It also packs beautifully in the suitcase. Good buy, though a little higher priced than I wanted to pay.

It’s exactly as pictured. Very light weight. I really like that you can unzip the top part and make it a visor instead of more of a ball cap style. Zipper is not obvious when top is removed. A little tricky to put back on, but it works. Provides cover for tops of ears. Only thing I would add is a strap to tie under chin for windy days.

This hat is OK but not exactly what I expected. I have a few hats like this that are made out of cotton canvas and hoped that it would be like them. My fault for not reading the description carefully enough. The hat is made out of a very light weight synthetic microfiber like fabric. The design of the hat is perfect because there is no brim in the back but a very wide visor in the front which makes it easier to wear in the car or when sitting in a high-back chair. The Fabric is very Light weight though and it blows off your head very easily. It does provide good sun protection though I doubt it will last as long as my older cotton versions have.

I love the way it fits. It makes lots of noise putting it on and taking it off. The hoop area crinkles when you touch or move it. I have worn in the pool. My niece even wore it (she hates hats and it was really big on her, she is 3). I came back and bought a gray one too! I hate hats and this is my favorite hat. I love it for keeping the sun off my head in the pool. Wet it and put it back on. It stayed put for me all afternoon, each time I wore it. (It was mostly wet though). Bought a second color: listed as Gray but it is Mint Green. Not exactly my color choice but I do love the fit.

Cheaply made, looks cheap. Tissue paper thin cloth, doubt it will stand up. Visor is created by thin strands of wire; the ridges in the visor are visible. Zipper works ok to convert it to visor, but I'm being very careful with it. I'll be surprised if it makes it to Labor Day.

Perfect & lightweight sunhat

I take this in my shoulder bag for when I am in the sun (I need to keep my scalp protected). It doesn't take up too much room. The one downside is the lining which is not very breathable and makes me sweat more.
