It's bigger than I thought it would be, and has such a majestic presence! The details on its wings and feet and base are so well-rendered, including realistic "soot-marks" like actual gargoyles, that they're awesome, meaning actually inspiring awe. The statue is heavy enough to need a little help moving around, but solid enough that the wind or stray animals won't knock it over. My friend's biggest fear is that her neighbors might steal it! :-) All in all, an impressive, detailed gargoyle statue, made of nice solid material, a bit darker in color than the photo, but *so* beautiful. Review: A real disappointment - I had to return this twice. Although the design and detail were very good, the material was crumbling and the wings were broken and glued back on by someone.
