UltraBlock Waterproof Mattress Cover, Twin XL, White, Breathable, Noiseless, Deep Pockets, Safe Sleeping, Top Tier Tech, Custom Support

I haven't needed to check the water proofing, and don't know how well the dust mite protection works, but this seems to be a decent mattress cover for the money. It is comfortable on my Sleep Number twin XL, and is not too hot. The only complaints I have are: 1) Washing per the instructions is a bit of a pain, and takes a while before everything is dry. Ultrablock recommends washing before first use. After this inital and 1 subsequent washing, per Ultrablock's recommended schedule, the soft flannel-like side is starting to look like it is degrading, trying to 'pill' in the center of the cover. Doesn't feel uncomfortable, just not sure how long it will last. 2) Even when first put on the bed, it seems to fit a bit less than snug, and by the end of a week it sometimes bunches up under the sheet. I have thought of using some soft-clip sheet tensioner straps to hold it tighter from side to side, but don't know if the Ultrablock elastic skirt is strong enough for use of these straps. Maybe just a problem for Sleep Number mattresses? (But my fitted twin sheets fit well, so...) At any rate, it seems decent enough - my previous mattress covers were expensive, didn't have these issues - but didn't survive the first washing. Time will tell how well it holds up, and hope I never have to test the rater proof claims! Update: After my review, the manufacturer reached out to me and determined that the original mattress pad was possibly defective. They sent me a new one at no charge. I asked them about using the Jajaplus bed sheet securing straps sold on amazon to keep the pad taught and prevent wrinkling under the sheet (garter style closures instead of sharp tooth clamps like most sheet straps). They responded that these should work fine without damaging the pad. The new pad arrived within days of our conversation, and the Jajaplus straps have eliminated the problem with crease appearing under the sheet, so everything is great. Re-marked the rating as 5 stars because: 1) The manufacturer follows user comments, showing interest in their qualkity control 2) They had rapid response and resolution of a problem 3) They worked with me on an unusual request about their product (use of sheet straps).

My mother suffering from cancer was moved to a health care facility with a hospital style bed. The large pieces of mattress protector pads they used bunched up when the head area was raised on her bed to sit up, making large wrinkles that hurt her fragile back and skin. This pad has the plastic like material on the side for the mattress and a soft material on the side she felt under the sheet, much more pleasant to sit and sleep on. When she adjusted the head or legs, this pad barely bunched up and stayed in place. She loved the difference, much more comfortable during a challenging time. I highly recommend for hospital style beds or adjustable beds.

Very durable and easy to clean

Very nice product so soft I love them. Occasionally my husband and I have leakage at night he is 70 and I and 65. Getting older sucks.... These are nice and thin but sturdy, and don't make any noise when you move. They are also a very good fit.When I ordered these they were on back order. It only took them 6 days to get here I thought it would take way longer. Quick delivery.

it is not a miracle product. It is not a luxury item available for bargain basement prices. It is comfortable to sleep on, fits well, doesnt make "crinkly" noises when you lie on it and is good at protecting the mattress from liquids. Will it prove durable? I dont know yet. Will it retain its protective efficiency after it has been used a year or more? I dont know yet. But as of right now, it does what I bought it to do and I am very satisfied with it

Bought it for how it would feel for me to sleep and and it's perfect. Since we have two cats and one likes to sleep next to me also bought it for water resistance and leak proof in case of any potential accidents. I do hope I never have to rate it though.. Great product, easy to work with you and reasonable price.

I was thrilled to come across these protectors several years ago. They are extremely comfortable and wash great (even at the high "sanitary mode" temperature on our machine). I have purchased them to use for our son at college as well as on all of our beds at home. The "terry-cloth" side is quite soft, and there is no annoying scratchy sound from the protective side. Love the product!

Only 3 stars for now due to the fabric being hypoallergenic and having to air dry basically in the dryer. I wanted a thicker top made with cotton that would make it plush. It is waterproof, doesn't make crunchy noises, but not the quality I would prefer. I don't know where to find one that will feel like a high quality cotton top mattress pad on the top that is plush that adds comfort to the bed. Any bed should be luxurious as possible, the linens I want to use should be as well. I wasn't terribly disappointed, but not greatly impressed. Will update this review after a few washes and more uses .
