I bought a refurbished 2015 MacBook Pro with Retina display, and I needed an outer case for the beautiful silver aluminum casing. Since I travel for a living, the case needed to be durable. The case needed to fit the 2015 MacBook Pro since the 2016 models have a slightly different chassis.Previously, I have purchased a similar kind of case from another brand, but they do not make one for this model.The Kuzy Rubberized Hard case fit the bill. I selected the Black case since I like that sleeker look, and so it can be distinguished from my colleagues' computers since they too many have similar models.I love the case because it was very straightforward to install. Simply snap it on! The bottom snapped in quickly, and I was able to snap the top on to my computer lid as it updating the OS.The case appears to be very durable, and has stood up to going through airport security checkpoints where I've been asked to remove my laptop from my bag. What's nice is as it slid in and out of security trays, I did not have to worry about wear and dents on the outer casing of my laptop.The rubberized outer coating is nice too because it gives the laptop a grippier feel, and doesn't feel like it would be a slippery as the laptop's smoother aluminum case.As with any other computer hard cases, you need to take the case off occasionally to clean off any dust and dirt which may get between the case and the laptop. This will help prevent any scratches to the laptop from any debris that may accumulate over time. Otherwise the computer is pretty well protected from dents and scratches while on the go or from simply moving about in your own home.While others have remarked that this case may break or the clips may eventually break, I have found if you take great care of these types of plastic cases, they will last for quite a while. I still have my 2011 MacBook Pro, and it is still protected by a similar case! The case has stood up to my travels and the several cleanings I've done. My 2011 MacBook Pro still looks pristine, and I know the Kuzy case will protect my 2015 MacBook Pro just the same.Eventually, as with many rubberized hard cases, you'll find some wear and tear on the exterior of the case. Thankfully, you'll know that the computer underneath has been protected!

Great case. Fits perfectly with no issues, looks great! I was really worried about it taking away from the look of the macbook but it doesn't. Looks exactly how I would imagine if Apple made a black version of the macbook pro. You can tell this isn't a $100 case by the finishing touches but if it wasn't for the last second refinements they could of taken care of you would of fooled me. For example, some of the edges are a little rough, nothing bad just not perfectly smooth like the rest of it. Also the foot pads are white with my black case... not the smartest decision on their part but luckily its underneath the laptop so not terribly concerned. Also one of the foot pads were placed almost completely out of the circle divet they are supposed to go in. Nothing big, I easily unpeeled it and stuck it where it belonged but all these are signs of cheaper quality checks but I rather pay $40 less and have to move a foot pad over half an inch. The reason there is no plastic on the back corners of the bottom portion is because it would hinder the screen opening up all the way. At first I thought the should of wrapped the back for extra protection but I realized they stopped the plastic exactly where the screen stops when fully open as to not impede any part of the way the laptop works so I do appreciate that. Lastly this did come with a keyboard cover... I wish I knew about this before hand as I purchased one at the same time and now I have two... Don't know if I will be able to return it or not but we will find out. The keyboard cover it comes with would get 3-4 stars from me because it fits but not perfectly, it is just slightly too long, so that if you rub you hand across it, it bunches up, but its minimal enough that just laying there you cannot tell. It does make for when you type it feels a bit loose. Besides that you honestly cannot tell there is a keyboard cover on it if you don't touch it, that is how well they mimicked the original keyboard. Very good job. We will see how long this case lasts!

I bought a case for a MacBook Air, exchanged the Air for a MacBook Pro, and bought the sane Kuzy case for the pro. Both cases are great. They snap into place, have a secure tight fit, and snap out easily. They are lighter than other comparable cases (just check out weight in product description). The cases are also thin. The rubberized coating gives them a nice satin feel. The only complaint I have is that the bottom cover exposes the back of the laptop, leaving aluminum edges on the back unprotected when it comes to scratches and dents if dropped at a certain angle. I saw Kuzy left this area uncovered so the screen would be freer to rotate at any angle up to around 130 degrees. Good enough for most of us. I saw a photo of the Speck case and it has the same issue. Another con is that the paint is peeling off the 4 bumper feet on the bottom. Since nobody sees that part of the laptop, I don't much care. I did want a Speck since they have the coolest colors. However, the Speck case weighs .26 lbs more, and costs $12-22 more than the Kuzy, depending on the model. As for durability, I cannot say about the long term. I am a teacher and use my Macbook for my lectures. I go from classroom to classroom, constantly opening and closing it, taking it in and out of my bag to and from 5 separate rooms in 6 hours. After a week, it is holding up great. Note that these cases are meant to protect from scratches and small dents. Please put you Macbook in a bag with a protected laptop compartment or in a cushioned sleeve. This cover is no substitute for that.

I absolutely love this product! It fit my laptop perfectly! The colour is very similar to the image, which is nice. Also the texture is very similar to the description of the product; hard, but rubbery. The case does not seam cheap, it's very good quality. It's durable and it'll probably last me a while. That being said I'm very satified with this purchase, as it also came in 3 days after I ordered it!! I will be purchasing more from this brand! :)

I first placed the order for this case and then while waiting for the delivery started going through reviews. After going through some reviews I had made up my mind to return the product after delivery and opt for an alternate case. This is before the product was delivered and before I had opened the box containing the case. And then I unpacked the box and pulled the case out of its plastic packaging. Taking into account some reviews I had read, I first started looking and touching the corners and side to search for problems - found none. Then I fixed it to my newly purchased macbook pro retina and still started looking for signs of any lose fixing - found none. Then I realised that I should not have at all paid heed to the negative reviews on this case.The fact is that this case is absolutely brilliant - the look, the touch, the feel, the fit, the finish, the texture - are all fantastic. It's like a cocoon in which my mac comfortably sits. The case has clips that perfectly clamp into the macbook thus holding the mac body tightly. The packaging and delivery were professional as well. This probably is my 2nd review ever but the reason I wrote this is to educate buyers like me on this wonderful product - it has utility and is beautiful as well. If you are a mac owner, this case is highly recommended.

I wanted a case as I really did not like the feel of the aluminium - especially the sharp edges where your hands rest. This case was a reasonable price and had some good reviews.It arrived in good time and clipped straight on with no issues. First impression is that it looks really good - very minimalist - nice matt black colour and the 'rubberised' finish feels very tactile. The sharp edges are better but not totally gone. When you turn on the apple logo shines through and is a nice touch.I have noticed that the finish is reasonably resistant to picking up lint/dust/fluff but does mark with oils if you have greasy fingers!The case will protect the macbook from minor dings and scratches and is all the protection mine would need when it is never going to leave my house.Overall I Love the case and would recommend it if you are looking for something to make the macbook more tactile yet keep the slick styling
