Filterbuy 20x25x5 Air Filter MERV 11 Pet & Allergy Defense (4-Pack)

These fit my furnace air plenum well and have served the job well. If they continue to be priced well, I will consider buying them again.

1) Size: excellent. When I switch from any branded to generic product, my primary concern is fit. I am thrilled to report these filters fit my furnace. If you read the measurements, you’ll see the official size is 20 x 25 x 5, but the actual size is slightly smaller in all dimensions. That concerned me until I examined my branded filter and those dimensions are also 19.88 x 24.75 x 4.38. 2) Cost: excellent. When we purchased our high-efficiency furnace/AC, the HVAC company explained we would only need to change the filters 2-3 times per year. What we did not know is that the original, branded filters cost $50 apiece. And I think the filters do need to be changed more than 2-3 times per year. Ouch at $50 apiece. Half ouch at $25 apiece, which is the approximate cost of these filters. 3) Result: excellent so far. 4) Do I recommend the product? Yes, I do. And how is this for a surprise? The product is made in the USA.

These filters do what they are supposed to do and do it well. Also one of the few that have 5 inch depth sizes. But be very careful when installing and removing them since they have very sharp metal wires on one side- they can easily lacerate your fingertips when removing them if they stick in your HVAC (they sometimes are slightly larger than the opening which makes them hard to remove without gripping into the box where the sharp wires are found). Other than that, they have good longevity and appear to remove a lot of particulates from the air judging how dirty they are when removing them.

They are what they say they are, air filters that do the job. Definitely check the exact measurements, this one worked for me but the 20x25x5 is not what the exact measurements are. I can't remember so look it up

These filters are as good as any filters that you may buy at a retail store

I have purchased these filters before and they worked great. This is the first time I purchased a 4 pack. The shipping container for the 4 pack is not nearly sufficient to prevent the filters from becoming crushed. Of the 4 filters shipped, 2 of them were crushed to the point that they were not usable. I was able to straighten them out and install them, but this took time and I'm pretty sure they are not properly sealed in the furnace slot. Update: I've changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Why? The product is very good, at a good price and fits the furnace slot as described. My initial 3 stars was because I was disappointed about the condition the filters arrived. The company contacted me to discuss the issue and after showing them a couple photos of the damaged filters, they promptly sent me a couple of replacements...which arrived undamaged. Damaged filters from the original order have been turfed and goodwill in this company has been restored.

A great replacement at a good price. My only qualm is that the filters are individually wrapped in plastic, which seems a bit wasteful.

The filters were the correct size for my furnace. The price was right and the quality was as good as the name brands . They arrived damaged.
