I was a bit apprehensive about this item as the price seemed a bit too low for a quality pet carrier. Well, I have to say I was completely wrong. It's quality is fantastic as is it's design. It has adequate pocket storage for treats etc.and is made from nice thick Cordura type nylon with heavy duty screens on the top and ends for air and for you pet to see out. You can load your pet from either end or from the top. One of the best features is the poly-wool bottom liner. It attaches with velcro strips to a bottom piece that is stiffened by some type of insert. The "wool" is easy to just throw in the washing machine to clean and the stiff bottom makes it possible to just zip down either end and slide you pet right out without having to reach in! It also comes with a nice quality strap with two different ways to attach it depending on how you will carry it. It also has a velco closing wrap around the handle to make hand carrying easy. I couldn't be happier. Both our Chiweenies fit in with plenty of room for a blanket for cold days. Shipping was right on time maybe even a day early, I can't remember.

This seems like quality construction. I needed something large enough for my 11lb, quite long cat and this is just right. I wouldn't keep him in it on long trips, but he can turn around in a crouch. Not tall enough for standing. The mesh seems strong and the pockets are nice. Bottom is sturdy, but the bag still sags some when carrying, so I felt like I needed to support it with my hand. Might add a piece of cardboard or plywood to help.My cat wasn't happy to be going to the vet, but he will chase toys and treats into the carrier despite the fact that it was the transporter. He doesn't hang out in it, but the unzipped side panel doesn't cause the top to collapse in as many soft carriers do, so your cat could go in and out if they're into that.Really could do without the giant red logo on the side though. Not aesthetically pleasing at all. I'm considering putting a patch with my cat's name on it over it.

Seems well made. We survived one trip to vet without problems. I wish carrier were an inch wider & an inch longer & at least couple inches taller. My tall long big cat is a little cramped although some how he managed to turn around. He very much likes the ventilation & to be able to see out. And I like being able to use both shoulder strap & handle straps & hold carrier against my body & in my lap at vets. 23 L x 13 H would be more comfortable for my cat but compared to other carriers in this general size range offered in the fall I am pleased with the features & quality of this carrier.

I just received it, so I can't say how it will hold up over time, but it seems to be well made. Comes with a clasp that you can put on your dog's collar or maybe hold your keys or something, There is also a pocket.Not sure what was intended but I think it would be a good place to keep a roll of poop bags.I intend to use it sometimes to carry one of our dogs, but mostly I plan to use it as a snuggle for my littlest dog who gets so scared when there is thunder outside.

The faux-sheepskin liner that cushions the bottom of the carrier Velcros into a foam/plastic mat that sits in the bottom to keep the carriers shape, but it slides around as soon as your pet steps on it. I had to use "liquid nails" glue to secure the bottom piece to the carrier to keep it from slipping. Other than that, it's a good carrier, multiple openings for your pet to stick his head out of if needed, but it is a little too short for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (17 pounds).

It was great until my 14lb Poodle got a hold of the top zipper and chewed a hole in the top and escaped. That was day two of a five day trip across the country in the car! That was not the issue of the carrier but the dog. I actually bought it because I had seen one like it on a dog program called Lucky Dog. It has an opening at both ends to help get the dog comfortable with the carrier, I made the mistake and showed her there was a way out threw the top! All was not lost because her dog bed was in the car and she was happy with out although it was not as safe.

Our queen cat never shuts up in a hard sided carrier. After placing her in her new geega-pet she squeaked a few times and then was quiet. I think it is because she can look up and see me. Anyhow this is a well made carrier and I would recommend it to any cat owner, as long as you do not have a 20 lb. Maine Coon Cat. He just doesn't fit.

As others have commented, this is a well made product. I put it in the back seat of my aircraft and my Maltese (10 pounds) sleeps in it comfortably. He likes to look out the mesh top and sidewall when we are on the ground and goes to sleep when we are in the air. You will want to cover the top to keep the sun out when necessary.
