Wired Traditional Red with Gold Edges Velvet Christmas Ribbon 2 1/2" #40 - 50 Yards

This was a great purchase! When the roll arrived, I was worried that I had ordered too much. Little did I know that I kept finding ways to sprinkle in another bow or 'candy cane' wrap while preparing my outdoor Christmas decorations. I was also able to cut this ribbon in half (length-wise) to revitalize some older wreaths. After using this ribbon the wreaths went from 'old & tired' to 'brand new & vibrant). The ribbon also holds a nice curl through various weather elements. These small wreaths were hit with strong rainstorms and the ribbon still held a curl and maintained its color.

This is very pretty ribbon, but it is not the same quality of ribbon as, say, Costco's. It will be fine for bows, but I won't use it inside as a ribbon in the tree or garlands. It wrinkles, but the wrinkles seemed to come out after I put it back on the roll. It is not a soft ribbon. It sounds like people use it outside just fine, so I will use it in my garland around our pillars outside.

Beautiful ribbon and a lot of it! I used this to hang wreaths on my windows and do holiday candy cane wraps on my front porch pillars, and I still have probably half the roll left. The rich red looks great from the street and the gold trim gives it a little special "something". The wire makes it very easy to work with.

This ribbon is awesome! I bought it to use to make bows for new Christmas wreaths at the church. The color is a true red, and the wire edge is gold. The width of the ribbon is perfect for big, fluffy, bows! 50 yards of ribbon goes a long way! I am happy that I have extra ribbon to use should I need to replace the bows next year! I am very pleased with this product!

The ribbon was use to my our porch pillars candy cane striped. The ribbon is stiff enough to hold while installing yet very workable going around the pole. It held beautifully during the Christmas season. I was able to take it down and save it for next year. The long roll gave me plenty of ribbon for our pillars. It is a high quality product.

I have been making bows with red velvet for some 30 years and I can say this ribbon was a dream to work with. The craft store's ribbon does not compare. The ribbon quality was impeccable and the red is as beautiful Christmas red you can buy. I will indeed be buying more of this ribbon. Another thing it arrived in a very timely manner....

I bought for outdoor use and it is not waterproof. Not as thick as others I've bought and did not say waterproof anywhere on the roll even though it was listed on Amazon for outdoor use.

The only flaw is that it's on the thin side.
