Primary & the Messengers

I am not Korean, nor do I speak Korean. But after I first heard some of the songs on Slacker Radio, then the whole album on YouTube, I knew I had to buy it. The collaborations of Primary with various Korean artists (mostly of the rap/hip-hop genre) are gold. Pure gold. Each song has a unique vibe with styles ranging from Latin to 80s pop. Others are just your good ol' hip-hop, which can be enjoyed best with the bass turned up on your car stereo. I do not claim this to be the best album ever, but it's definitely one I enjoy listening to over and over. My only complaint is that there are two discs. I'd rather be able to listen to the whole LP without having to change discs.

GET IT!!!! There is nothing more I can tell you. Primary is a powerhouse producer/instrumentalist and he is giving you the best of the Korean independent hip hop scene in an amazing 2-disc collection. This is the album that brought Zion T. into prominence but doesn't stop there. You have Dok2, Dynamic Duo, Jinbo, Bumkey, Gary, Gaeko and so many more. This is an all-star cast and worth the price!.

I love this cd. However, I think something went wrong with the packaging. I had a hard time getting the CDs out of my case, and found hot glue on both of them. I'm still trying to get the glue off.

The best!

Primary is one of the best producers in the world and this album showcases his talent and knack for melody. You don't have to understand Korean to vibe with this album. True hip-hop at its finest.

Must have für k-music obsessives. Eine must have zusammenstellung. Jeder song, jeder einzelne, primary gold. Dieses album von primary ist ungeschlagen in diesem genre.

YouTubeで聴いたのと違ったです。曲も構成もあれっ？RIP SLYMEのパクり…と正直感じました。個人的には残念でした。
