A definite Yes. I wear as a slip but would make a great nightgown especially in hot sticky weather.
I ordered 3 one in black and 2 in white and wear them as slips for my teeshirt dresses that are slightly see through. They're cotton blend and are perfect, not scratchy, soft, non static, not bulky, and are actually cooler to wear than the thin poly material slips or nightgowns. The neckline seam could be less bulky because the outline shows when wearing a thinner fabric t-shirt dress which I would prefer it now show at all. They've held up very well to constant washing and drying for over 2-3 years. I recommend them to the thinner poly ones that are hot and tend to increase static.

comfy slip
I got the large long. I am 5'10" and 150lb. The length was good. But it is in no way loose around. It's clingy (not in an attractive way) and in no way could serve as a dress. But it is soft, stretchy and comfortable. This will work for what I got it for. I have a swollen belly right now (post surgery) and got this because I cannot tolerate half slips around my waist. I will wear it, and after the swelling goes down I will still be able to wear it. All in all, I feel very positive about it. I just wanted to mention that the size doesn't run large for sure.
