Finally, a gaming mouse that works with smaller hands!
I have gone through dozens of mice trying to find one that's shaped enough for my hands, that will also allow me to reach the buttons. From mini Gaming mice to more high end models, I have had suggestions, comments, and samples, with most being either are too wide, or too long, poor quality, and so on. I have a modified Palm/Finger grip, or something...and occasionally pick up the mouse too. So, I have been expecting less and less, the more I look. I was ready to make my own mouse. A good mouse needs to fit like a good pair of shoes. If they aren't comfortable the first time you try them on, they probably aren't going to be later. Enter the M500. I expected an OEM gaming mouse, a few frills, and it looks like it too. Lenovo has had good products, a little pricey, with poor support and/or software. It's smooth tracking and quality switches are typical of more pricey mice, and it's got a funky ego shape that really works. In fact your thumb ends up where it normally is as you hold your hands relaxed: slightl/almost under your index finger. Plus it gives a slight tilt of your wrist too, which means less fatigue later on. Most people who know nothing of ergonomics are not going to like it at first, just like tented splitkeyboards, but it works. Pros: Tracking and tuning are simple, and work Ergonomic shape (it's not flat) Great for smaller/medium hands. Simple software supports macros, surface tuning, and some colour settings. Real grip sides Configurable LEDs that don't overglow Light weight (but a single weight is included). Quality switches and sensor Flexible and light braided cable. Great for everyday use too! (Possible) Cons: Light weight might turn some off, or feel "cheap" even with the include weight. Larger hands might find this an odd shape No track record on a first gaming mouse for Lenovo. Lighting isn't so bright (brightness settings are limited). Software only has basics, and might be too simple for some. Ergo shape might turn off more "traditional" gamers. Could have more buttons.

Usual cheap gaming mouse. If it is on sale - get it.
A cheap mouse that does its job. Playing games is not a problem.

one of the best
I prefer to purchase gaming mice, even though I do not play games. They just tend to be the best and fastest mice on the market. I have at least a dozen from name makers like Razer, Asus, and now Lenovo. This may be my favorite, though I change over from time to time. It feels great in the hand, has a perfect weight (not too light or too heavy). Expensive, but can be great value on sale.

Shiny but poorly designed underneath
It has blinky lights, so if that brings you Joy, buy this mouse. It seems to fit the hand well, so that's cool. The mouse has an okay-ish weight, but it could be heavier. There seems to be a toggle on top of the mouse that triggers the DPI ratings (I think). The problem I have with this mouse is the scroll wheel is unresponsive in a very problematic way. It is responsive when scrolling downward, but doesn't seem to be as responsive when scrolling up. This ruins the usability of the mouse, to be honest given how much we scroll day to day. It also has a braided cord, which is cool. I am unsure how long this mouse will last. Note that there is a button on the bottom of the mouse to cycle through different programs. You need a Windows App to 'program' the mouse profiles, but you are not able to delete any of the profiles. Note that if you are a laptop using, depending on your configuration and if you utilize any sort of USB hubs or docks, that this mouse may give you freezing issues. I do not know if this is due to my setup of utilizing a USB KVM (CKL brand) or not. Switching to connecting directly to the laptop did not resolve my issue. Switching the mouse to the USB 3.2 port of my ThinkPad X1 Carbon on the left side of the laptop causes the mouse to freeze the least. If my USB hub is plugged into here, I have less issues, but the mouse will still freeze. If the mouse is plugged in via KVM, to the USB hub, to the laptop, it will still freeze. I may try plugging the mouse into the 'hub' port of my KVM and not the mouse and see if that resolves my issue. Also note that (I think) once the mouse is programmed as far as RGB lights, the programming should stay even if you swap to different devices or unplug the device. It is 2022. We don't need RGB LEDs in everything. We don't need a mouse that freezes every few seconds on modern hardware. At the moment I need the mouse, as I had a hard time finding a comparable mouse.

Awesome mouse Great price!
I really enjoy this mouse. I've been using a trackball mouse for ages, but it's been uncomfortable on my wrist. I love the economic shape, optimal weight, adjustable dpi is right at your fingertips. The software is easy to use. This mouse was worth every penny! Note: I don't really play first person shooters so I'm not using it to it's limits so I can't say for sure there's any problems... I have experienced none though. Great mouse!

Mighty Mouse!
This mouse replaced my failing Razer Mamba. I was going to use it as a temporary replacement, but it's a keeper! Feels great, works great with all of the high-end graphics programs I use daily, and it looks nice. Make sure you down load the driver from the Lenovo website. (https:/support.lenovo.com/legion_m500) Custom set response, weight, extra buttons, (if you want it fancy) 5 different effects for 3 different areas of custom color lighting. I really like it. It impressed me enough to actually write a review.

Feels great, looks awesome 😎🤙
So far I use it for over 6 months now (along with legion keyboard and headset) and I LOVE IT! love the DPI adjustability especially! It feels like a much more expensive mouse but for the money I paid - no complains at all. I love the fact that one piece of software can control both the mouse and the keyboard. You can assign macros to buttons if you're into that. The RGB is simply beautiful on this mouse. I'm super happy that I went with Lenovo instead of Amazon generic brands.

Perfect
Wired was the perfect option for me as I didn’t want to charge or change batteries. I didn’t realize that I could also change the colors with the Legion accessory app. Very cool and works perfect for gaming!
