Review: Smooth to the throat - Tastes good, smooth on the throat to stop a cough or scratchy throat. I bought this based on articles that said singers use this, and I wanted something non-medicinal to soothe my sore throat and stop a night cough. It doesn't last long for a bad or medium cough, so I keep it handy during the night so I can take another sip if needed. I like this better than lozenges or cough syrups. The active ingredient is Osha root. It tastes sweet and might have sugar in it, but I haven't checked as that would not be important to me. The advertising promises good effects on the bronchials, as well.
Review: It's not a sweet treat - don't buy if you want candy flavoring.. - I bought this on a whim. I did not read the reviews about the taste just saw the 4.6 stars and homeopathic. My sleep meds excelrated/made symptoms worse to a cold I was catching. I just took a bath, but when I stood up I had a coughing fit that was nothing I've ever experienced. I ripped this outta the box and the plastic on the cap, poured it into a spoon. I couldn't get this in fast enough. The moment I swallowed I stopped having that coughing fit. Does it taste good, no, it's medicine. It's not the worse thing I've ever put in my mouth O.o. the texture is NOT thick thank goodness. That's all I care about. If the texture was thick I would have an issue. The after taste, taste like I ate salad with some bark for crutons and a touch of honey. I'm not savoring it in my mouth, it's not wine, immediately swallow it. Plug your nose and take it like a shot with a chaser if you're afraid. **I'm a veteran who ate MRE's for 6 years- had a small alcohol dependency issue 14 years ago- my tolerance for bad taste is high** as that is said, don't buy homeopathic "medicine" thinking it's gunna taste like candy/a sweet treat. I hardly get sick, when I do it's a freight train and I just don't the spoons for it. I need to get better faster so I can avoid burnout.

A: Ingredients: Extract of OSHA root in an herbal syrup base of white pine (bark),  Black cherry (bark),  spikenard (root) balsam poplar (bud) and bloodroot (root)route. Other ingredients are evaporated cane juice, purified water, vegetable glycerin, and Pharmacopeial alcohol 5-15%by volume.  Organic. So, it does have tree.  It is an exceptional product that works very quickly to loosen chest congestion.

**Q: What age can u take this for children?**
A: The product states: children 5 to 12 years, take 1 to 2 teaspoons every 3 to 4 hours, children 2 to 5 years,  take 1/2  to 1 teaspoon every 3 to 4 hours.

**Q: Does it need to be refrigerated after opening?**
