The Mystery of History, Volume II, Quarter 1: The Early Church and the Middle Ages Kindle Edition

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS and ALL of the Mystery of History Books. I think I enjoyed this more than the kids. The way this text written was easy for my 1st, 3rd, and 4th grader to follow. It was also interesting enough to interest grandparents. I can't say enough positive things about this curriculum. My favorite book to teach from.

My son is an audio and visual learner. He enjoyed this curriculum the best out of the history books I have tried with him. The lessons are short but full of information. He can get a lot out of them and ask questions for clarification. It is easy to find documentaries to supplement in. I would definitely get the actual textbook instead of the kindle version because the kindle version does not have the activities after each lesson and each quarter is separate and costs around $9.99 for each quarter.

One of those time when I wish I had read the reviews first. Very disappointed that the corresponding activities are not included in the chapter like my hard copy of vol.1 I will reiterate previous reviews, but what was the point of buying even the 1st quarter in ebook.

This is a great, affordable way to try out the first 1/4 of volume 2. The other quarters are not quite as affordable on kindle, but I'm going to buy the actual paperback book. So this was a great way to test out the book. It seems to align with Classical Conversations timeline cards pretty well, better than Story of the World's order of chapters.

I was disappointed that the lessons are not at the end of each chapter. What is the point in buying a partial ebook? I was happier with the hard copy.

Did not realize this was only part of the book and didn't include even the full portions of each chapter. Do not buy this for a homeschool curriculum.

I bought this on my kindle hoping to save money. But the kindle books are broken into 4quarters making it a little confusing. I bought the first quarter at3.99 and hoped the other 3quarters would be the same low price. This is not the case the other quarters are all each $9.99. That makes getting the entire book to be $34 dollars. I could buy a new hard copy for that. Also the kindle book lacks all the activities at the end of each lesson that the hard copy has. I give this kindle version of Mystery of . History vol. 2 a one star rating.

This book is keeping young and old reading. I would, however, recommend to complement this study tool with another more traditional history text, in order to achieve a more complete mastery of history.
