The handset feels of good quality as does the actual base of the phone. The buttons feel sturdy enough to last a long time and this phone has a proper bell ring which you cannot beat. The ringing indicator light is also very useful as you can tell when the phone is ringing if you are hard of hearing. I have the phone in my workshop on the wall and it can sometimes be hard to hear it ring over the loud machinery so the ring indicator light is a handy feature. You can even chose the receiver volume or set the ringer to on or off depending on your needs. However, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to work it out but it meant disassembly. The supplied cable is not for the uk but the equivalent is easily obtainable. The red flashing light never worked but that did not bother me as it’s quite ugly.
