As a Muslim and a student of comparative religions, I do come to like this bible its nice quality and doesn’t feel far from a hard cover looks good. I read other books of the bible before but I never completed the entire bible which I am planning to now to be more aware of the context and this bible provides a map which does fill some imagery of your mind to be true. I would recommend you to buy it and DO NOT SKIP straight to the New Testament also read the Old Testament all the way

This is a beautiful Bible for the price. The "leather-look" cover feels nice and durable, and it's the perfect size for a gift or for carrying to services. Very happy with the quality!

Perfect gift

The 4 star rating is for the cost. Good price for size of the Bible & looks nice. Just don't think it would hold up very well. Cover is thin (I know it's paper) but because it extends beyond all the pages (unlike regular paperback books) I think it will look tattered quickly. I purchase 1 to see if it was suitable for pew seatbacks at a local church. Sadly, it is not. Will need to purchase something sturdier. I think these would be nice to keep in your vehicle to hand out to those who don't have a Bible though. :)

Perfect size light weight bible that makes it easy to carry with you or put in a bag. The words are a little small but not too small to still read with ease! My husband has been enjoying this bible very much!

I was looking for a backup Bible in English, since I own a full size Spanish Bible (my native tongue). This NIV Bible is very compact and light, and its price is unbeatable. Pages of a light gray type of paper , not the common see through onion paper, which is a really good feature. What you gain in size and portability , you lose in print size. The print is very small . I wear readers and still notice the font size might be a little too small. However I am planning to keep it, because as I mentioned this is a backup Bible for the event when I need to share passages in English exclusively. This would make a great gift for someone looking into owning a first Bible or if you're looking for a compact sized one.
