Buyers beware! – NONE of the reviews here relate to the Icefire T70-UV version of this torch! That said, the UV torch, (which can be powered by 3 x AAA batteries or 1 x 18650 Li-ion rechargeable battery), is physically the same size and general construction as the normal white light version of the torch: - Length ~137mm (Zoomed out), and ~157mm (zoomed in). Diameter ~38mm at the head, and 29mm along the body. Overall weight 177grams (with 18650 battery inserted). It has a rugged aluminium body, push-pull zoom function of the head, recessed rubberised tail-switch, and comes complete with pocket-clip, wrist lanyard, a 3 x AAA battery carrier, and a plastic tube for preventing battery movement when using 18650 type battery. (NB: Batteries are not supplied). What is completely different though, is that this ultra-violet version has a UV – (and only a UV), light output. The technical details section of product description states that the Luminous Flux, (light output), is 1000-lumens for this UV version. – I find that value very hard to believe! Using an old but very reliable Isotech ILM350 digital light meter, the measured illumination from my particular example of the torch, (zoomed in), with the torch held at a distance of 1 metre from the Isotech instrument was 775-lux, which dropped off markedly to just 12-lux at the same distance when the torch was zoomed out. (NB: Power source used was a freshly charged 18650 Li-ion battery). It should also be noted that there aren’t any multiple light output modes with this UV version of the torch. It is either on at full power, or it is off. – (Although it can be used with a half-press of the tail-switch for momentary action, after initially fully switching on). However, light output queries aside, when in use, the torch is perfectly adequate for general purpose tasks requiring UV illumination, and for a price (at time of writing this review) of (£9.99), is well worth the money.

This torch is really bright , I bought it as my old one is too dim, but this has great coverage, takes three aaa batteries, not sure of battery life as I haven't used it for long enough yet, but I have to say im very impressed, Good value for money, comes with a small plastic tube I that seems to be there for battery holding, but its an extra accessory that doesn't seem to fit unless im looking at it wrong. Definitely recommend

Tried used the light in the kitchen wall by turn the kitchen light off, I can see but not very clear some little shiny spotted on the wall that I think its the germ. So its work!! Thank you very much.

I needed to check the UV-fluorescent security marks on some equipment, so bought two cheap UV torches from Amazon. This was one. Sadly it appears to be utterly useless, since there is absolutely no trace of fluorescence in its beam, it is just a torch with a strange blue colour. Even the UV-fluorescent security marks on bank notes are invisible with this torch. If you want a bright torch with a strange blue coloured beam, this is for you. If you want a UV torch, give this one a miss. Products like this make me grateful for Amazon's excellent returns policy!

I was amazed because it identified stains not visible to the naked eye, so I am very pleased with my Icefire T70! I did read safety info on how to dress using radiation so I made sure no skin was exposed whilst using the Icefire T70. Good value, I am very pleased!

Don't waste your money it is not a UV light torch it is just a fancy blue light torch

Excellent product.

It's very bright but doesn't pick up stains like you would think, I either have a very clean house or it just doesn't work. I did buy this after watching a video of someone using one in a hotel room 🤮 so I wanted to know what I was sleeping on but haven't use it in a hotel room yet.
