Not the end-all repellant but much better than nothing.
As a repellant, these bands are nowhere near as effective as "Off" but they work in the immediate area. I'm 6' 3" so if I have it on my right wrist my left lower leg area is still vulnerable. They say it can go around the ankle as well but for me the band wasn't long enough.The lemon smell is strong; some may find it overwhelmingly so.

Smelly
I don't know if this product keeps the Mosquitos away or not, I didn't wear it very long. I was surprised with how strong the smell was. It smelled like I was a giant citronella candle. It would probably work just fine for keeping away the bugs, I just didn't like smelling like that...

Great bands, effective
These bands kept the mosquitoes away for sure. Each band lasted for 2 fulls days of proction which I thought was great. Great bands, I would buy them again for my next trip abroad.

Does the job
They did the job of keeping bugs away. I got them for my kid who went on a trip to GA and she told me that the black piece to close it broke off easily.
