Since nobody is saying how these shorts actually fit on the legs, i,l do it. These are well made and are true to size so buy your size. Im 5ft 8 bit of belly and ordered a L and they just come to slightly above my kneecaps, perfect, and they fit perfect on waist but they have tassels to tighten anyway. They are not short on the legs like these sports companies seem to make now. A main point is they are a good slim fit to the legs and not baggy like the sports companies are making that look ridiculous on. This is why someone has to give a review on how they are on the legs. I bought 2 pairs of shorts recently from well known sports brands and sent them back. They looked nothing like the fake AI photos showing slim fitting on the legs and were very baggy at the bottom and on the short side. You could drive a bus up them. Dont know what they are thinking of. Too much of this crap going on now, using fake photos and you get something that looks completely different. The inseam measurement is 9ins to the bottom and the leg gap at the bottom is 9.5ins so If you want a more slim fitting on the leg shorts then buy these. They look good on. Do what i did, buy one pair your size and if they fit good then buy the others if you want multiple. I bought one large and it fitted great so i then ordered another 10 pairs of various colours. I ordered that amount because its getting very hard to find slim fitting shorts now. I was a little disappointed in the blue colour which is the one id like most. It is more like an off black its so dark. If they are going to make blue then make it blue. Looks more blue in the fake AI photos that they are all using. But they are still good along with the black. The pockets are fine. I dont know why some people say the pockets are not deep enough ect. They are ok considering they are shorts and the zips look decent quality with tags for pulling. A phone fits in the zip pockets no problem at all if you must have a phone with you everywhere. Back pocket fits phone as well but has no zip. Anyone that wants to carry different things get a small chest bag, these are shorts. All in all a good well made pair of shorts. Im older but i still like stylish sports brands but what they are making now is just unacceptable. You will be lucky to get any pockets at all on those sports makes, they are pathetic. I,l stick with these.

Do you remember the 70’s ? Party 7s of Watney’s Red Barrel, The Sweeny, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel ? I do: and with these shorts you get the styling of a modern 21st century look with that good old man-made fibre feel. Yes, although the label says 70% cotton the boffins at the material labs have reproduced the exact feel of the greatest thing about the 70s: Crimpolene. Oh Crimpolene, what Nylon wanted to be when it grew up, what polyester was too timid to attempt. Championed by Adam Faith in the cheeky cockney crime drama ’Budgie’ this fibre took over the world with its stay pressed, colour fast, slightly stretchy and sweat generating swagger. Used in everything from swimming trunks to furnishings it’s ubiquitous presence was only topped by the amount of static electricity discharged into small children and family pets. So you can see why I was delighted to feel that rough familiarity across my ‘shorts region’ despite the label informing me that in fact they contain 70% cotton. How do they do it I think I can hear you call, surely it’s a fix. Well I have no idea or answer for you except for the fact I suspect that AI or chatbot weavers, maybe even a drone spinning Jenny are involved. Possibly deep state forces are finally in the hands of ‘Big crimp’ at last. Anyway that has no importance at the moment as we are discussing leisure wear not the global forces that textiles can martial at a moments notice!!! I must admit the cut and construction of these technological marvels is brilliant. I am a rotund gentleman and prefer a slightly longer leg for my summer shorts and these have the perfect length for me at a smidge under 6 feet tall. The waist is comfortable with a standard tie cord around to avoid unintended dropage and possibly unwarranted embarrassment and civil unrest. The aglets on the cord are particularly well designed and go along way to avoid the loss of a cord end into the waistband which is one of the cruelest things that can happen to a person, along with unwarranted persecution or a meal with a casually racist family member. They are extremely comfortable and are suitable for any occasion save perhaps receiving an honour from our dear King or a meal with a casually racist family member, both occasions warrant a higher degree of padding at the knee. One for kneeling and one for providing cushioning when explaining in depth to the errant relative. All in all I’m very pleased and like the shorts immensely and am thinking about a second purchase, although I’m not sure that I would need any , as despite the label reporting the content of 70% cotton ( and I have absolutely no reason to doubt such a statement of fact and have complete faith in their accuracy) the likeness to a textile which can only be destroyed by fire or by the Thatcher government of the late 70s and early 80s, means that they should outlast me by some decades. This leaves a tricky issue of inheritance but I’m currently devising a covert ‘Shorts Eligibility’ scoring system for use privately after meetings with friends and family; the results of which I shall place before my legal representatives at the appropriate juncture. Hence my only awarding 4 stars, as the legal procedure alone is more of a commitment than I was expecting from the purchase of these rather useful shorts. Oh the memories of Crimpolene and the times of a simpler time, a time without strife, a time filled with static charges and a moist “area”. Ah I hear the door bell. Perfect fit very comfortable

I now have about 4 pairs of these, they're one of the only shorts that have everything I want. They're super comfortable, look really good and have zipped pockets so my valuables are safe. I wear these on holiday all the time and also in the UK in summer. I've got both the black, white and blue colours which all look great. I bought my first pair maybe 2 years ago and it's still in great condition

Having read the reviews on the comfort of these shorts I decided to buy four pairs during an Amazon flash sale offer. I’ve only had them a few days so not really had the chance of wearing them for long periods of the day. Hence the reason for the rating but first impressions are good. They are comfortable. I’m a size 38” waist and having read contradictory opinions on sizing from other purchasers I decided to try the 3x size. Fortunately the size was the correct choice. All shorts are a good fit so going for a size up is what I’d recommend if you are reading this and can’t make up your mind. They have a draw string to help keep them from slipping down your waist but like others have said it is a bit on the short size but this was no issue. When trying them on I didn’t need to use the draw string because the elasticated waist band was good on its own but I imagine if you were carrying something like a phone, wallet , keys then you’d want to tie up the shorts. The material is fine and to be honest I bought them for a beach holiday in the summer so I’m not fussed about the quality as they are only for knocking about on the beach during the day. The leg length is good. I’m 5’11” and the shorts hang to the top of my knee so perfect. I haven’t tried the zipped pockets so can’t comment about them at the moment. Generally I’m happy with the purchase given the price. The colours ( black, blue, green and indigo) were as pictured on the website.

Der Stoff fühlt sich gut an, aber die Größenangabe ist ein Witz. Ich hatte 4XL bestellt und selbst XL Hosen sind größer. Ich weiss nicht welches Volk diese Hose als 4XL beschreiben würde, aber es müssten Zwerge sein. Schade

Not bad at all. Pockets are a little shallow but that's the only downside. Very comfortable for working around the yard, etc.

Quality, hole in the right side pocket. So my advice is don't trust that you have a zipper in it, don't put anything in your pockets, or you will lose whatever you put in it.
