Tend Skin Solution for Razor Bumps and Ingrown Hair, 8 Oz

First off, to all those saying it's too expensive, it's really not if you use it correctly! You don't have to use a lot of it in order for it to work! I've had a bottle that I use everyday and It's lasted me a full three months. LESS IS MORE! when applying it, put just enough on a cotton ball and dab it across the entire area that needs it. Anywho, This product does work, and yes it does kinda sting at first and has a not so pleasant smell. HOWEVER, over time, with consistent use it won't sting as much, and it really doesn't smell all THAT bad. I am a black man that has suffered from terrible razor bumps due to wet shaving on my face and neck. This stuff is one of the only products (next to Barc Bump Down) I've used that has helped clear my skin back up, and trust me I have tried damn near EVERYTHING. I first noticed results only a day after my first application, and my skin has stayed bump free since. As a fairly hairy man, my facial hair grows very quickly. I like to keep myself closely shaven, so I shave roughly about every other day. On the days that I shave, I first take a rag and run it under some hot water. I then place the rag on the areas of my face and neck I plan to shave and let it set for about a minute to help loosen up the hairs and open the pores. I then shave, after shaving I wash my entire face and neck with a deep cleanser or an exfoliator and pat dry. I then use the TEND SKIN, by placing just enough to lightly soak a cotton ball and dab it across my entire face and neck. Like I said earlier you don't need to use a lot for it to work! matter of fact, if you use too much it can dry your skin out terribly and probably make matters worse! Several minutes after the area is dry, I apply a moisturizer. I would HIGHLY recommend finding a great moisturizer to use to apply to the area to prevent the area from becoming too dry, especially if your skin is very sensitive. I personally like to use Cetaphil moisturizing fragrance free lotion (you can find for under $10) or sometimes I like to use a little BIO OIL when I have it (BIO OIL, is about $5-$10 for a 2 fl oz bottle, but has proven to me to be VERY effective in moisturizing and great for a variety of skin problems). I think the main things you should make sure of when choosing a moisturizer is that it's (1) fragrance free, as this can sometimes cause more problems for skin prone to razor bumps, and (2) not too heavy, as this can clog pores and also make matters worse. Just make sure that you keep the area properly hydrated. Also on my off days, when I don't shave, I'll still apply a little TENDSKIN after washing my face before bed. Personally, the smell really isn't that bad if you use it correctly, and it's nothing that can't be covered with some cheap cologne/perfume. BUT if the smell is really that much of an issue for you, I would either only shave at night and put this on before bed, OR I would recommend trying Barc Bump down razor relief cream. This cream is the only other product I've used that works to remove and prevent razor bumps. It's a little bit more pricey than TENDSKIN not by much though, but it doesn't have a strong scent at all. It's very creamy and goes on like a light lotion and it also doesn't dry the skin out as much. It does however burn a lot more for me than TEND SKIN. Hopefully this helps someone out in choosing whether or not to buy this product =) PS: all of the products I talk about in this review, I've purchased through Amazon.

I've tried a lot of products, and this is by far the best one I've found for razor burn and razor bumps. I use it after every shave, and I don't get razor bumps anymore. The largest bottle lasts a long time, making it much more cost-effective than other products I've tried. Highly recommend!

works great for my skin, doesn't prevent ALL bumps/ingrowns but it 100% helps a ton. the smell is so-so, not nearly as bad as people make it seem.

I’ve never written an amazon review before but i thought that this product deserved to be my very first. Let me tell you all about the razor burn trauma that i have been living through over the past month! I had shaved two nights in a row, which was a rare act for me, before i realized that i had developed nasty razor bumps all up and down my leg. After that realization, I scoured the internet for any helpful tips and tricks that could help me resolve my unsightly problem in a short time: lathering aloe vera on my bumps??? didn’t work. spraying tea trea oil, my usual go to for pimples and the like??? didn’t work. hydrocortisone cream??? i believe that made a rash develop and the bumps to spread on other areas of my skin. So after two weeks of using and abusing home remedies for razor bumps and seeing no results and further irritating my skin, I decided to order Tend Skin in a last ditch effort before I took myself to a dermatologist. Now if I’m being honest I wasn’t too impressed with Tend Skin at the get go. I used it day and night, using a cotton ball or a piece of toilet paper to wipe on the affected area, without seeing any results. I was getting frustrated, as any millennial american kid would, because I wanted instant satisfaction. Where were these life changing results that I had obsessively read through on the reviews??? Was it me?? Was I one of those unlucky people who had received a fake version?? My patience and overall self esteem were thinning the longer I had to stare at my unsightly bumps and the hair that I was unwillingly chose to grow out on my legs as a result of the damage! I was determined to make this product work damnit!!! So i took a new approach to the product, I immediately found a travel sized spray bottle and dumped some of the product in there too see if the way I was applying was the culprit of minimal results. I then decided I would spray a generous amount on the affected areas three times a day for the next week... that’s all I was giving myself. Two weeks should have been enough time to see some type of result! I was looking for anything! I would take one bump minimization as a sign that all hope shouldn’t be lost at this point!! Well, at the beginning of the second week I was still not seeing what I wanted... if anything I thought the razor bumps were spreading to other areas on my leg (which could have been a side affect from the hydrocortisone cream and not shaving now that i look back on it) and my leg begqn peeling from overuse of the product. So great!! Now i had an army of angry red bumps that I could see even in my nightmares AND dead skin. What a pair! I was blessing whatever God or Force of nature out there that it was winter and the appearance of my legs mattered to nobody but me as long as it was -10 degrees out. So to counteract my peeling skin I found some skin dimensions moisturizing lotion, that had glycolic acid as one of the ingredients I might mention (over obsessive research on google instilled me with the knowledge that this, along with salicylic acid, are the two most common ingredients in products that help fight off razor bumps and ingrown hairs) and i lathered that sucker on about 10 times a day or whenever I found myself extra time and I wasn’t confined in jeans or sweatpants. This was around the week and a half mark, and I might mention that I had been plagued with these bumps for almost a month so i was rightly fed up with their sight, and then I, DRUMROLL PLEASE....., FINALLY SAW RESULTS!!!!!!! I was finally waking up in the morning and seeing some of my razor bumps fading and getting smaller. Now I don’t know if it was my overuse of the product, moisturizing before, after, and in between product application, not shaving my legs, or divine intervention but I was finally seeing results. It’s now a day before I have been using Tend Skin for 2 weeks and the results are only getting more satisfying. The bumps aren’t completely gone by any means, there are still a few suckers that refuse to budge... i mean really?? Just like Regina George in Mean Girls: “Why are you so obsessed with me?!”. But I’m sure with continued use 2-3 times a day, using the moisturizer, and embracing my hairy leg I too will be able to shave again. So this harrowing tale and product hasn’t been for naught.. You too can see results. My advice to you, dear reader, is to be patient! I know that sounds laughable coming from the girl who obsessively took pictures of her leg every day to see if there were any results but this is all I can give to you! Moisturize... find one with glycolic acid if you can because I swear that helped speed up the healing and fading process twice as fast. Also don’t shave!! I’m pretty sure I further irritated my leg during my helpless attempts to maintain a semblence of society pressured appropriate feminine hygiene by shaving around the affected area. If you botched your leg just as bad as I did BUY THIS PRODUCT but give it time, I didn’t see results until a week and a half into my Tend Skin journey. p.s. Refrain from overusing your power to google your symptoms if you are anxious for results!! This can only lead you down a very dark path where your only options are either death or living with the problem for the rest of your life! It’s usually not that dramatic but it can be hard to convince yourself otherwise when you have an overload of information at your fingertips! before and after pictures included!! i would be sorry for my hairy legs but I’m not!!! The razor bump cure! Sometimes razor bumps and ingrown hairs are inevitable. Ugh! This clears them up fast. I used it on my bikini line and it worked so well. Everything cleared up and the skin was left calm and smooth. Put it on clean skin once or twice a day. You don't need a lot either. It is strong but it works. I'll never forget I met a guy who swore by this! Told me he used to have acne until he found this. I think he probably was dealing with folliculitis from shaving. This was over 15 years ago. I'm glad I remembered his recommendation!

I hate writing reviews but WOW DOES THIS WORK. I don’t trust products especially when it’s a bunch of white people trying to just make money. I saw that Black people bought this and used it PROPERLY and went “yup it has to work” AND WOW DOES IT. I’m on my 3 days of it after shaving. I have BAD razor burn like i won’t leave the house if it hurts because no pants, shorts, underwear or anything can help the pain nor lotions or showering won’t help. I HATE SHAVING but this has turned my mind completely around. Buy this. And who cares if you waste $20 on something you might not like but if you have it as bad as I do get it. I’m comfortable finally after shaving. I even played golf in 80 degree heat (yes I was sweating profusely in my coochie) BUT NO RAZOR BURN AFTER!!!! I’ve never been more excited to tell people and even write a review (I’ve only written 1 before this trust me.) BUT USE IT CORRECTLY! It will stingy and do the hour test before on a part of your body that you can handle that pain if you have an allergic reaction but yes it will stingy for a little bit it’s a good “ouu it’s getting clean in there” stingy not “AHHH THIS BURNS” stingy. Babes trust me buy it, I’m so happy teheh I can shave whenever now!

I've been using Tend Skin Solution on my bikini area, and so far it has been working really well. Since adding it to my routine, I haven't experienced any razor bumps or ingrown hairs. It's easy to apply, effective, and has helped keep my skin looking smooth after shaving. A little goes a long way, and it has become an essential part of my skincare routine. So far, I'm very happy with the results and would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with razor bumps and ingrown hairs.

Tend Skin is the Bomb when it comes to Combat Razor Bumps, Ingrown Hairs and Razor Burns. There's nothing worst than shaving and having to see Ingrown Hairs, Razor Bumps or Razor Burns on the face. I initially brought the product when I had a few Ingrown Hairs on my face. I would apply Tend Skin to the area that is affected after a shave, before bed and the next morning I would see a huge improvement on the affected area. I would apply it in the morning and night again and within a few days the Ingrown Hair I had was gone. If I had anything bad to say about Tend Skin, it would be the strong Alcohol Smell it has. You can hold your breath and not breathe through your nose, but the Alcohol Smell is so strong that it would literally rush up your Nostrils and hit your Brain. Don't let that Negative Point regarding the "Smell" prevent you from buying the product. I am very pleased with Tend Skin and I will be buying this product when it's done and going forward. Overall this is a product that every man must have after you Shave.

Siempre he tenido problemas de irritación al afeitarme, en particular en la zona del cuello. A lo largo de los años he usado máquinas eléctricas (philips, braum), maquinillas tradicionales de distintas marcas (wilkinson, gillette...), espumas de afeitar y after shave para pieles sensibles, de farmacia... y siempre con el mismo resultado: cuello irritado y algún pelo que otro encarnado. Gracias a Tend Skin los días de ir con el cuello lleno de granitos se han acabado!!! Es un producto estupendo, como una mezcla de alcohol y exfoliante que funciona realmente bien. Como único inconveniente señalar que deja la piel algo reseca, como ligeramente descamada, aunque de forma tan poco perceptible que no considero necesario ponerme crema hidratante ni nada parecido. Con respecto a la aplicación del producto, yo lo hago con el dedo, como si se tratara de un after shave normal. Cuando se me agote probaré la versión roll on. No lo dudes, las 5 estrellas más merecidas que he puesto hasta ahora!!!

Ich bin sehr überzeugt von dem Produkt, seit Benutzung habe ich keine Hautirritationen mehr. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es jedoch für den Preis, welchen ich als ein wenig zu hoch empfinde. Kaufe es dennoch immer wieder nach.

Seit Jahren suche ich nach einer Lösung um Rasurpickel zu beseitigen. Ich hab mir schon so ziemlich alles was man kaufen kann ins Gesicht geschmiert. Selbst die verschiedene Hautärzte konnten mir nur mit Kortison und Antibiotika helfen. Da dies keine dauerhafte Lösung ist habe ich mich an Tend Skin gewagt. Da das Produkt aus den USA kommt und nicht in Drogeriemärkten vorhanden war, war ich sehr skeptisch. Wieso sollte es eine Lösung geben, die hier nicht vertrieben wird. Auf Empfehlung eines bekannten aus den USA habe ich es mir dann doch bestellt und konnte es nicht glauben. Anfänglich hat es nur gebrannt und gestunken (wie Aceton). Die ohnehin roten Stellen wurden noch röter. Nach ca. 1o Minuten ist die Rotfärbung deutlich zurückgegangen. Man darf nicht erwarten, dass man nach dem ersten Anwenden keine Pickel mehr hat. Aber nach ca. 2 Wochen Benutzung verschwinden sie vollständig. Ich benutze Tend Skin jeden Tag nach der Rasur und Abends vorm Schlafengehen. Wer das Problem von Pickel nach der Rasur kennt und dieses Produkt konsequent benutzt kann auch meine Überschrift verstehen. Fazit: Der Preis erscheint anfänglich etwas hoch, vergleicht man ihn aber mit den unzähligen Alben und Cremes aus der Apotheke handelt es sich eigentlich schon um ein Schnäppchen und für die Leistung ist es definitiv gerechtfertigt.

I’ve used Tend Skin for years. I’ve always purchased it at a beauty supply store for hairdressers and aestheticians. It is now not available and so it has to be bought from regular retailers. Because it was from a supply store the price was a third of what the price is now. Are used to buy the regular size bottle for $12.99 so it was a huge shock to me when I saw that that bottle is now being sold for $35. That is why I bought the largest bottle that’s available and it was $80 I think. That is unbelievable but because this stuff is so amazing and I ran out that I purchased it here. It took a little while to get here but it did arrive in perfect condition. It has plastic wrap around it, so it stayed closed and they were no leaks. I can’t say enough good things about this stuff for razor burns especially in sensitive areas , hopefully this big bottle will last me a long time. It is definitely worth it in the end to have it rather than not have it. I just wish it was at the prices that it used to be without the added prices because it’s being sold by a business , it’s also available at shoppers drug Mart and at Walmart but you have to order it there too and they only have the smaller bottles. It’s more economical to buy a big bottle then the little one for $35.
