I believe the charger and battery were ok after they didn’t help I took my used laptop back to where I bought it and the problem was my laptop so I had to buy another laptop it’s a different brand so there different parts or I might of kept them

Works great with my HP Victus laptop that is maybe three years old.
I would go with this rather than taking my chances with a cheapie, it is a sturdy, well-made product, using it right now.Also I realized that the reason the original one was failing is that I had a habit of unplugging it by the cord. Unplug it by the plug.
