I replaced the builder-grade ball catches of my bathroom doors: original plates had been painted over and balls were rusty.These look nice, work well, and it was a very easy job. I should have done it sooner!

I installed these today. I drilled a 3/4 inch hole straight down in the top of the door. about 2/3 inch deep. I didn't carve out where the plates attach, but it still looks pretty good. Close and open the door a few times it leaves a mark on the door jam so you know where to install the strike plate.After installing the ball and spring in the door I drilled the hole in the door jam using the 3/4 inch bit and wiggled it to the left and right to get it ablong. All this might sound messy, but it gets covered by the strike plate.So far, they are working great. And they are easily adjustable up and down by turning the ball and spring housing. Great for keeping double doors closed but not locked.

I haven't installed yet but they look superior to the standard ones that come with the door. I like the fact you can adjust the ball. 4/5 because color selection is misleading. I thought I was ordering a pair in white because the tile is white. Yes it says chrome but I only noticed that now. So four stars for not being clear.

Super easy installation, very smooth function and quiet. No constant adjusting and no getting stuck like the one that came with the door! Quality material, don’t think I’ll need to replace anytime soon.

I purchased these to turn a regular lockable door from my living area to the hallway into just a push to close door.It was very simple to drill the top of the door and install these ball catch hardware. I feel they are very durable, slip resistant, and improved the door openability to make better sense to me. I also have these type ball catch doors on all my closets, and am going to order this brand to replace the existing Ball Catch Hardware. The stainless steel is very attractive and the feel of the Hardware is more heavy duty than the existing. A great buy for sure.

Fantastic! It does just what needed. The old one wasn't adjustable and would allow a minor breeze to blow the door open. This fixed that problem perfectly.

It did it's work. Although it's latch is not very hard but it's quite good.

Good adjustability and holds really well! Used for a swing door in my campervan and it hasn’t swung open on me once while driving.The only complaint I have is that there is room for the ball to move back and forth slightly in the catch so it makes noise while driving. Obviously this wouldn’t be an issue in a normal house situation!
