Cool Dog Collar with Removable ICE Pack - Size Small (FITS Neck 11" to 17")

I saw these on Fox News and decided my dogs needed them so I bought them. We had some pretty hot days in CA so they were a blessing for my dogs.

I used this on my dog twice then noticed the third time I went to insert the ice pack , the ice pack fell out of the collar because the stitching had come undone on the one end. Also the ice pack strips do not stay frozen long enough to be useful. : (

Great for cooling down your dog, I always have this in my freezer! It helps him go to sleep in the hot rooms in the house at night!

I had a similar experience as another reviewer... within about 2 weeks, the end of the collar (with the buckle) broke off. Even when it worked, the ice tube doesn't seem to cool my pug off enough to make a noticeable difference in the summer in Texas. The sleeve that the ice pack fits in is a little too thick to really cool him off. A neighbor has a competitor's product, which holds actual ice cubes that drip out to cool the dog off, so I'm going to try that instead.

I don't know what happened but the clip that holds it together broke off and there is no way to salvage it. I am disappointed.

The concept for this item is great. I can't believe it hasn't been done before now, especially in the southwest, where it gets so hot. I would suggest that two ice packs be sent with each collar, so that one can be put in the freezer while the other is worn and then rotated. They melt in a couple hours and it would be super if they could be quickly replaced. A smaller size is also needed for littler dogs. I like the product and it works as advertized.

Horrible. Complete waste of money. I left it in the refrigerator to cool down overnight. When I took it out it hardly even felt like it was a cooling color. I put it up against my face to sort of check temperature, and this thing is nothing!Do what I do; bring a bottle of water with you, and if your dog feels like she's really getting overheated, pour the water on her head and on her body, and of course get her inside as soon as you can. But this thing I would not even give it one star. Can I submit a review without any marked stars by chance? Because its not even worth 1 star if you ask me. This thing is a zero.
