My iPod stuck to the surface with a silicon cover very tightly. Felt a bit cluncky, but could still use my earphones.

I liked the idea, but did not want to "permanently" stick my ipod to it.

This iPod holder is rather ingenious in that it is essentially a sticky chemical compound that adheres to your device. I worry that it clings so hard that eventually when I peel off the iPod it will fall apart in my hands. Hasn't happened yet, though.I liked this because I could hang my iPod around my neck which, to me, is way more comfortable that strapping it somewhere on my body when walking. One of the issues I have with it is that when the iPod is attached it is extremely difficult to remove the headphone jack (which I do when in the car). Another issue is that it is really not that easy to clean off when purse gunk gets all over the sticky pad. \
