My dog already takes glucosamine, MSM and omega-3 fish oils, so this is the only product I needed to add.Just like the duralactin, I have observed my aging dog is much happier and somewhat more active. She still has pain, and moves with difficulty when she is too active. However, she does not seem to have the level of distress about her discomfort she previously did, and that alone makes this product worthwhile.Swanson has been satisfactory to work with. I have purchased several bottles now, and the product and service have been consistent. Thank you.Addendum 27Nov2020We continue to use microlactin on our 2nd now elderly dog; my older dog has now passed. The effects do not seem to be quite as noticeable for this dog, but we have her moving without the side effects of pharmaceutical drugs, so that is good.We have a cat who has had skin issues for years, with many different medications failing to have any benefit, as well as an expensive specialty diet with partial benefit. Since skin issues and digestion are sometimes related, we looked into more digestive support. We decided to try a small dose of microlactin. After 10 days, we needed to stop because of repeated stomach upset, which resolved once the supplement was stopped - unfortunately, since the skin seemed better. We deduce that the cat has a serious intolerance to dairy. Several years ago, we had tried another dairy based supplement, Zylkene, and she had different symptoms which also resolved once we stopped. Again, that was sad because there had been also been improvement in the skin with that product. Long story short - some animals (and people) may not tolerate the dairy content.

I had heard about MicroLactin before but never had a need until I was diagnosed with arthritis in both knees in March. In January, my joint pain came on in an instant and never left. No amount of Advil or Aleve would help. I finally saw an orthopedic who gave me my diagnosis and I purchased Microlactin immediately. Within 7 days I noticed a significant difference in both my pain level and mobility/flexibility. By the time the 10-14 day load period was up (I went all 14 days b/c it was working so well!), I had gone from a pain level 10 in both knees to a pain level 2. By the end of the first month, I had almost my full range of motion back. Even better, it's a natural product with NO SIDE EFFECTS (even though I am lactose intolerant, so don't let that be a deterrent)!!! I take the Double Strength b/c there are fewer pills to take. I have trouble swallowing them, but I chew them a little (it's not yucky tasting!!!). I am in my early 40's with an active lifestyle. MicroLactin has been a game changer for me! Most days I forget I even have arthritis. Even when I work my knees a little too hard, they ache as opposed to hurt. In those moments, I double up on what I take that night (or in advance when I know I'm going to be especially active the following day).

I have a 12-year-old AmStaff who has been aging rapidly since hitting 12. He's losing his hearing and his back legs are giving him a lot of trouble when we go out for a walk. It was very noticeable, even with a limp. He's been kind of moping around and a bit whiney. I cannot do anything about the hearing loss, but I gave this a shot, as going for a walk was becoming a chore. Toward the end, he almost needs a walker (I've cut the distance dramatically). I figured I'd give this a shot based on reviews.He is now on day 4 and I'm noticing a difference in his overall demeanor. While the back legs are never going to be the same he has that playfulness back and wants to move around and even run short bursts. I'm guessing it's from the alleviation of the constant pain and inflammation. Either way, I've got my buddy back.He will not take the pill - so I crush 2 and mix the powder in some peanut butter or soft cheese. I will update after a full few weeks. But I'm so happy at the early results I had to post.Oh, and my vet wanted me to give him some pharma's that have ugly side effects that include diarrhea, internal bleeding, vomiting, and vertigo. I even got free samples (like a street dealer) straight to the garbage.

Did nothing for joint pain or inflammation. Wast of money. No returns!

We have a menagerie of 6 assorted dogs -4 of our dogs take this 1/2 -1 tab daily, fish oil ( twice day) & Movoflex (from vet). We used the brown chewable brand previously-then it was unavailable so we started using this product. We have been using Swanson brand for last 4 yrs. Our dogs ages from 5-13 yrs: blown knees , torn meniscus ( two different dogs treated by vet with PRP procedure) & arthritis . The dogs are very active- two 1.5 mile walks a day plus a huge yard to play in. We will continue to purchase this product!!!! Quick delivery!

I have taken Microlactin for one week. I had difficulty swallowing the pill every day. A dat ago, one lodged in my throat. I eventually got it out. I broke the pill in half before taking today. That helped, but was still a problem due to irregular shape after breaking.(Too early to know effectiveness. Three stars were given so I could get my other comments online.

I started my dog on Duralactin in the Spring and it worked great. When I saw ingredients list I then ordered Microlactin and it worked just as good. A month ago my back went out, an annual occurrence for me and as a last resort I tried the Microlactin myself and within a week my back had no pain. 2 years ago it took 2 months of a chiropractor and physical therapy. This is a miracle supplement IMHO and I've been handing it out like candy to any friends with joint pain. Btw I'm a RN.
