OES Genuine Oil Filter for select Acura/Honda models

I am impressed that this is actually the OEM filter, I know because I was at Honda buying parts and I purchased it so, I can have an extra one and I compared and they were exactly the same filter even on the inside from what I can tell I currently have the Amazon one installed and no problems at all, actually helped my car a tad bit with feeling smoother for some reason.

Was OEM and fit perfect

I wanted OEM Honda filters for my newly purchased Accord. I found these OEM Honda filters online and was thrilled at the cost, so I bought them. Afterwards, I came across information that Fram makes these filters for Honda. Well, back in the 80s, I used to swear by Fram. But, they are definitely not the company they claim to be. Either they decided making money was more important, or the free access to information on the Internet has finally broken down their glass castle of marketing. Too many oil filter blogs/websites say the same thing about Fram; poorly constructed. If I was going to change my oil every 5k, then I guess I might continue to buy these OEM filters. But, my car tells me when to change the oil and given all my freeway driving, it is close to intervals of 9k miles. Given that I expect to have this Honda for 15-20 years, and spend the money for full synthetic oil, I'm not going to spend that much money on the oil alone then hope that the 'Fram' filter can hold up to the extensive length of use. I was disappointed that Honda would contract with a company like Fram, which has a terrible reputation among professional and DIY mechanics.

This is an OEM filter of good quality, not some flimsy cheap knockoff. I was also surprised that it came with an oil plug crush washer which I didn't see in the item description.
