UPDATED *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2019* I've had them for a year so ready to update....The coating comes off. I never put it in the dishwasher but it came off anyway. No point in paying extra for a pretty color since it will end up being stainless steel.The lid was poorly made. For a reason unknown to anyone with a brain, they molded it with the seam right where you drink from. That means there is this constant weirdness when you drink. It's not enough to hurt or to even put you off, really, but it certainly is there.After a year of using these, the cover slide no longer even stays in/on the lid. It pops out for easy cleaning but I never did that because I didn't want to break it. Apparently that didn't matter. It just loosened up all on it's own and fell out. After fussing with it for weeks, I gave up and threw it away. New lids would be great so that I can continue to use my now silver cups. These did do a good job of keeping things hot or cold and I miss that.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Leakproof - sure, as long as it doesn't tip over because, like everything, it will role to the opening on the bottom, spilling everything everywhere!Easy to hold - kinda. There is no indentation or flair to make it a surer grip, but the smaller size is worth losing this feature from my previous, larger cup.Easy to clean - not so much. This is very narrow and I have small hands that I can squeeze into it but it is a very close fit. Anyone with any larger hands can't do it. The lid stays on the cup tightly enough, but the sliding cap part that allows you to take sips through the lid becomes loose after a few washings, and gets looser over time. I purchased this set of cups for the lids because I had a similar cup and the sliding part of the lid broke off. These new lids fit my old cup perfectly, but the sliding lid performs just as poorly.
