My go to pencil that is always with me, and the one I use every day is a 0.5mm Pentel Graphgear 1000 with Ain Stein 4B Refill Lead. Lovely weight, easy to hold.I ordered these to give mechanical Colouring pencils a try.So, Delivery - Excellent Ordered on the 4th July and I had them by the 6th.All arrived o.k, nothing missing and nothing broken.Now it says that you get 24 black leads and 24 assorted colour, (and you do), but remember the pencils have one in them as well, so you get 30 Black. The pencils although light weight do the job and look neat, they have a small sharpener at the top end, (no eraser inside), and being 2mm you can only fit one lead at a time, but that's good enough. On using them I found no lead slipping back up the pencil when you press down, so all good.For some reason the 2B leads that are fitted when you get the pens seem darker than the ones you get in the case of 12 that are just labelled Black.The coloured lead does seem a little light, but maybe that is because they seem more hard than soft.For me personally I wanted to use them as a pre sketch before over drawing in the darker 4B pencil.So for me again all good. I used an Meetory electric eraser on the colour and I seemed to clear it 98% or so.There is no white in the pack but yet another Black and they all tend to have a shine to them (like a wax crayon). The pictures are a little darker than the actual crayons.The felt bag that comes with it all is a little compact, (if you put everything in you cannot close it), but it's ok for the pens alone and I would think that most people would have a pencil case anyway. So all in all excellent value as an entry level try-out.

Absolutely love this buy!!! The value for money is amazing!! The pencils feel lovely in the hand, not particularly heavy but have a triangular grip that I love. All come with graphite in the pencil so I changed one blue and silver pencil to red and blue leads for sketching. The quality of the coloured leads obviously aren't as good as the col-erase but work fine and erase if you sketch lightly. Nothing was broken when delivered. I was genuinely so pleased with my purchase and highly recommend!!

The clutch pencils are lovely and great value. The 2B leads are dark and not too shiny. The coloured leads are a very cheap quality, not very pigmenteded. They are okay for kids colouring books I suppose. I bought these for graphite sketching and like the lead hardness indicator on the pencil so the leads can be exchanged for other leads of different hardness. The sharpener is handy built into the pencil too.. Lost a star due to the poor quality coloured leads.

Very well priced cough pencils .I drew the images with them although I did use other leads as well.as.those that came with the pencil set.they have a quality feel to them and they have a little dial that shows you what lead is in the pencil.I know I use to many pencil grades but hey ho just starting out. I now have enough clutch pencils.so I can have one of each grade . I would recommend the.little.2mms sharpener which you can get on amazon.great item great price.

I love mechanical pencils but I am just too clumsy to own one as I am continually breaking the leads on them.I saw these advertised and decided to give them a go.The GoodThey work exactly as you might imagine a normal mechanical pencil to work and the lead is thick enough for me to not break the lead whever I use it.The BadThe pencil itself is a bit shoodily made sadly. The top bit that you depress to get more lead out has fallen off a number of times. Thankfully its easy to put back on.Not sure this is the companies' fault but after writing for some time with the pencil, it gets blunt and at 2mm thick my writing started to look thick, clumsy and childlike.I now use the pencils just for proofreading and for that job they are perfect.

I needed some thicker leaded pencils for writing on plant labels, as my old pencil had thin leads that would be a bit feint to look at and they would also break easily.These pencils are a good replacement, they are easy to write with and when writing on plant labels the names are easy to read.There are lots of leads with the set and even coloured ones, which look rather nice.All in all a good set, time will tell how long they will last.

Lovely set unusual to be able to get colours as well as the 2B leads.They are nice to hold. Haven't reviewed sheerness as no idea what that means sorry. Good value for the price and would buy again.

Presently surprised! For the price these pencils are excellent value. Bought a set for each of the kids for school.Only reason that not 5 stars is some of the leads were broken in transit.Contacted seller, but couldn't be replaced, but got refund. So all good.Think buying replacement leads will be dearer than ordering another set!!
