I'm normally a fairly slow reader and am recovering from an injury that makes reading difficult. I've been using this series to help me build endurance with visual tasks. I started it because the first book had a large print edition. I wish the other books did too but it honestly helps a lot that there are a lot of breaks for chapters and pictures. I love that the later books in the series have more color as well. As for the writing, the character development is superb, especially in this book. Noor is a fine addition to the series and I look forward to seeing more in the next book. Plot is also a strength, especially since a lot of loose ends come together here. I'm kind of dreading the next book though because the actual drama of it is a bit stressful, lol. I hope we get a good chapter eventually of how they function during rest and relaxation, LOL. I highly recommend this series though. I'm just starting the 6th book and cannot wait to devour the rest!

These books have always kept me enthralled to the end, and still do. The characters are so well defined, the accompanying photos give you that glimpse into the past and a “fleshed out,” feel for the characters and the mix of peculiar and normality along with being able to explore places none of can go to anywhere else except through books keeps me coming back for more. Such a captivating series.

Between a 3.5 and a 5 on this. Absolutely loved it, it appears as though everyone isn’t a fan of the romance occurring in this one but whilst I think it’s perhaps a bit rushed I do think it’s a situation that makes sense all around so I’m not sure if the issue with it, exactly? It’s the shortest, I think(?), of all the novels thus far and seemed that not much happened. Middle book syndrome is real. THOUGH, it is making me curious as to how long this series is planned to be—there’s no way it can be wrapped up in the next book unless it is HUGE—but also I’m low-key worried about it being drug out for too many books. Drug out as in there will be ANOTHER issue after the current one. Up in the air with this. But enjoyed and will definitely be continuing with the series. Book quality itself is A+ as usual.

This was one of my favorite series as a teenager. I think the second book in the second trilogy is better than the first book in the second trilogy. I love the concept of using the photos as always and I liked the lore building. I still was interested and hooked while reading the second half.

As a young teen, I absolutely adore this series. I love the young love in it but I don't really like how (spoiler ahead!) Jacob starts liking Noor over Emma. I much rather have Jacob date Emma over Noor mostly because it is less cringy. Emma and Jacob are made for eachother!! Alright thats enough with my ships, (slang word for wanting someone to be in a realationship with so and so) The cliffhanger is making me so mad! I will now have to wait a few months for the next book!! As I have said, I love and live for this series!! I will just bee on my way now (see what I did there?? ^u^ I am a professional dad joke comedian) Can NOT wait for the next book!!

THE CONFERENCE OF THE BIRDS( BOOK 5) BY RANSOM RIGGS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. THIS BOOK BRINGS BACK ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ALONG WITH NOOR ONE OF THE NEWLY INTRODUCED PECULIARS FROM THE PREVIOUS BOOK. IT HAS ALL OF THE SAME ADVENTURES AS THE OTHER BOOKS AND MORE OF THE FRIENDSHIPS BETWEEN THE CHARACTERS INTERLOCKING THEIR TALENTS TO HELP THEM WITH ONE OF THEIR BIGGEST ADVENTURES YET...SO EXCITING AND ANOTHER CLIFF-HANGER!!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE NEXT BOOK!!!

I devoured this book the moment it was in my hands. I had all of these ideas after the last book, the story line went in the opposite direction and I loved every single minute of it! This book starts the moment the last one ends, as if it was all one book that Mr. Riggs had to abruptly cut in half. The action starts immediately, after all the last book ended in enemy territory. The peculiar children cant be contained in their little bubble of safety when there are people to rescue and Jacob keeps going on adventures official and otherwise. Time to do my re-read. Like immediately. I think I'm just as excited for that as I was to read it for the first time at 230am when it finally appeared on my phone. (Like I could wait for the mailman to deliver the physical copy to start reading this. Lol)

I cannot get enough of this series! Usually I find that the middle book in a trilogy can be a little lacklustre - more a bridge between the 1st and 3rd novels (or 4th and 6th in this case) but this book was all action from start to finish and I couldn’t get enough of it. Now the long wait for the next instalment...

I found myself be apprehensive getting into this one but I don’t know why, because it’s one of my favorite series and none of the books ever disappoint me. I adored it, from start to finish! I love seeing everyone work together, and I felt like we got a lot of this in book 5, similar to the beginning of the series. The plot twist at the end got me shook! I think fans of the series will enjoy a lot of the things that take place in this one. I cannot wait for the next book, but also I’m not ready because it’s gonna be the last one... :(
