## Overview

The SAFAVIEH Natura Collection Area Rug is a 9' x 12' handmade wool rug featuring a durable 0.5-inch low pile height, designed for high-traffic indoor areas. Its contemporary ivory and light grey geometric pattern adds a sophisticated, textured look with artisan-crafted braided motifs. Backed by Safavieh’s 100+ years of quality craftsmanship, this rug combines longevity with modern style, making it an ideal centerpiece for living rooms and bedrooms.

## Description

The SAFAVIEH Natura 503 collection works a diamond motif into undyed wool in ivory & light grey, a Scandinavian surface that takes its color from the fleece rather than a dye bath. Each rug is hand-woven at a 3/8" pile, firm and textural underfoot in a way no synthetic reproduces. Wool resists crushing and everyday soiling, though undyed yarn means tone moves from batch to batch. Natura 503 suits a living room, bedroom or dining room built on natural materials.

## Features

- [COLOR & DESIGN]: SAFAVIEH's Natura rug works a diamond in ivory through undyed wool; its 3/8" pile is firm and textural; color and pattern contrast may look different in person, and shade can vary depending on lighting and screen settings.
- [ARTISANALLY HANDCRAFTED]: Hand-woven from wool at a 3/8" pile that springs back after furniture and stands up to high-traffic areas, wearing evenly in an entryway, hallway, home office or foyer.
- [EASY CARE]: Vacuum regularly without a beater bar and blot spills immediately, pressing rather than rubbing so the pile is not disturbed.
- [WHAT TO EXPECT]: Some shedding is normal in a new wool rug and reduces with vacuuming. Creases relax within a few days laid flat. Because the yarn is undyed, tone shifts between batches rather than matching exactly. A SAFAVIEH rug pad adds cushioning.
- [TRUSTED BRAND]: For over a century, SAFAVIEH has been synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless design, a legacy carried through four generations. From New York, we offer rugs, furniture, lighting, and decor to help you design a space you love.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I get my rug edges to lie flat?**
A: Rugs are rolled or folded for safe transit, so creases and curled edges are to be expected. Lay the rug flat, or reverse-roll and the marks will release within a few days.

**Q: Why does my rug look different than the photo?**
A: Because the fibers lie in one direction, the rug appears lighter from one end and darker from the other, with the tone shifting as you move around it. Room lighting and screen settings can also affect how the color reads.

**Q: Why does my rug shed?**
A: A little shedding is normal on a new rug, and it subsides within a few days as the loose fibers work their way out.We suggest vacuuming regularly without a beater bar to help it along.

**Q: Why does my rug smell?**
A: A light scent is normal after a rug has been rolled and wrapped for shipping. Let air circulate through the room and it will fade within a few days.

**Q: How do I clean my rug?**
A: Vacuum regularly in the direction of the pile, not against it, and skip the beater bar. Blot spills rather than rubbing them. Natural fiber rugs should be shaken out to release dirt and debris, avoid wet cleaning.
