Between this and a shaker, I prefer this mixing glass. It's easier to clean, looks nicer when not in use and it's easier to mix cocktails.

The glass was great for stirring drinks as compared to the shaker bottom I was using. I didn't have any issues with slipping or shifting whilst concocting my drinks. My only regret was catching the pour spout with said shaker bottom during a work event and breaking the top. I wish I could blame it on being inebriated, but I hadn't had a single drink yet... Lesson learned. I have a stainless steel one for travel and will be getting another of these solely for home use.
