Due to Rheumatoid Arthritis the arches in my feet collapsed ages ago and I have suffered from legs issues and plantar facitius amongest other issues. To combat this, i have to use supports in my shoes - which means that I have to go around in trainers all the time - which at the age of 57 can look odd in certain circumstances. There are ordinary shoes in the shops which you can wear with supports - but they are "Granny Shoes". These shoes are a amazing discovery as they have the support that trainers give, are not "Granny Shoes" and look rather smart! My only complaint is that they are not leather and my search goes on to find a leather equivalent.Walking in these shoes is like walking on air! and they are cool on your feet - both of these factors means that I can walk further without getting aching feet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very comfortable walking shoes *by A***R on 17 July 2019* Very pleased with these walking shoes, extremely comfortable and durable. Ordered size 5 and they are a wee bit generous however, I am pleased as it does mean I can wear thicker socks in the winter months, would recommend these for when your walking for hours and hours ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great trainers *by N***A on 26 July 2019* These are great and don't feel like trainers. I love the instep and it actually feels more like your wearing shoes or boots as opposed to trainers. Very comfortable and look great. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/131369962-funnie-womens-running-sports-shoes-air-cushion-mesh-shoes-casual](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/131369962-funnie-womens-running-sports-shoes-air-cushion-mesh-shoes-casual) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
